This song will stay with me forever. When I went to see Cornell live in Boston a handful of years ago, I told my wife that no matter what he played, this was one of the two songs I I needed to hear most. Well, he played it sure enough, but the most incredible thing was right towards the end he did this dramatic pause, just like he does at 3:00 in this version, and during that pause he turned his head and looked RIGHT AT ME, with this look that seemed to communicate "I know you wanted to hear this." It was... chilling.

I remember when this album came out. I put the CD in my car stereo and had to pull over by the third song i was crying so hard. I've never been so moved by an artist in my life. When i was younger i was a huge fan of Ian Gillan. Back then i never thought anyone would come close to how he made me feel.
