Thanks Chris..you don't know much you got me through it. R.I.P...Words that spoke to me, and still do. I can now listen to them without that non-stop self regret. Now that's a beautiful thing. Such a loss he was, among others.

I cant help but to wonder"where he would lead us today. Down what new path of enlightenment, to what new or old sentiment would he unfurl with the pluckings of our heart strings parebled with his? And looking down from the hieghts upon us I hope he knows how much richer our lives have been because he allowed us to peer into his soul for one brief shinning moment?" We love you Chris. Javelin I remember seeing him on a solo tour about 5 years ago and he played this song and it honestly made me so concerned for him. I couldn't help but wonder if there was some thread of truth to it. I told myself, nahhh, its just a story. And now he is gone. My gut instinct was right. There is always a thread of truth in an artist's work, always. To me this was the most tragic and heartbreaking loss in recent music history. My heart hurts to think about it too much. I hope his legacy lasts eternal and his music reaches new ears forever. Rest peacefully sweet angel. 🙏🏻💔

To me the 2009-2011 era was his second vocal peak. He had so much control and had conditioned his voice how to hit the high notes smoothly again. The live acoustic shows I saw of him were downright magical to sit through in person.
