Can you miss someone you have never met? Is it true that everything you have experienced involving this guy can be experienced again and again? He owned any rock stage he was a part of, with his energy and ripping vocals, but when he sat on a chair with an acoustic guitar, he bared his soul and invited us to do the same. To care for others and live truly. We can live as beautifully as his voice and guitar sounds, and we should honor him and all of us by striving everyday to be better. It's almost becoming a cliche but its not. It never will be. I miss you Chris, every day of my life, and I never knew you as a person in this life. I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, but I'm sure you were happy enough that all the times I saw you live, I just experienced my life, man, and grew as a human. I love you.

I didn't realize how important Chris was to me and how much I loved him until that day he died. I broke down crying three times that day. One time I had to pull my car over to the side of the road, and I just fell apart. One of my favorite memories is of when I was a little kid in the truck with my dad. He was driving me to baseball practice, and Black Hole Sun was playing on the radio.

once I've lost a very important dog not only for me, but for my family in a very cruel, unexpected, shocking manner and since she passed I've noticed I could only remember that momment and started trying to remember all the wonderful memories I still had about her. she wouldn't ever deserve less. Chris doesn't deserve that at every video we cry about his passing to somewhere else. he deserves partying about his passing through life. he remains in ourselves as pure, beautiful energy for what he done here and is all that beauty that he've done that I want you all to remember when seeing and/or remembering him. he is very much alive in all of us. let's bring him to life every time we feel him, and not bring him down never again. amen to that.

Not everyone feels to this extraordinary level. But to those of us who do this mans voice and lyrics burn our hearts on the inside. It's touches us in ways we cannot share or explain. I've wondered what I'm doing here in this place right now. It's a moment to moment struggle for hope and peace and a place. It causes me to suspend belief or leaves it beyond reach in any higher power. Higher Truth, I hope he's found it at last. I'm never allowed to forget my broken heart. Now I know what he meant. I believe God has a sense of humor as humans do. after all, we ARE created in his image. I'm guessing if we have a sense of humor, we have it because he has one and decided we also needed humor in our journey of life. chin up son. smile. and lighten up
