I met Chris shortly before he passed.. he was an amazing person to meet and have a conversation with. Me and my friend had the opportunity to go backstage on the higher truth tour. Me and Chris talked for over 20 minutes. He answered every question I’ve ever wanted to ask him, and he took the time to sign my vinyl record / and poster I had, and took some photos as well. Such a cool and genuine down to earth great guy. I’m happy I got the opportunity to meet my hero!! RIP CC! Your music is still a part of my every day life and something I will always cherish.

When Elvis died it was sad, when Kurt & Andrew died ,again it was sad..when Freddie Mercury died I wept ..cried for a week..it was how the media tormented this dying man that got to me more than anything ..then Our Sweet Layne died, that was so tragic just so senseless ..then ofcourse Mike Starr . And I forgot to mention Scott Weiland....that too was.tragic. 2017 rolls around and we lose Chris Cornell ..it's now close to 2022 and I'm still mourning Chris Cornell ..it's as if a family member or close close friend died..I wonder if Chris had any idea of the impact he and his music had on the world ..? ...Did he know how much we loved him and still love him today ? ...I'm not sure what exactly took place that awful May evening ..will probably never know . I do know this however..someone somehow. someway .missed something ..allowing him to slip through the cracks of mental illness or foul play..or maybe medical error by prescribed medication..but someone fumbled and we lost a musical legend...and talent that we will never see nor hear the likes of again. .to me therein liess the tragedy ....May the Good Fly Free ..peace .

Well, no, That's what GOD wishes for us! Why is there pain and heartache in the world? How could love exist without hate? Comfort does not bring perfection. We do the most growing in distress. We seek for answers why relationships ended, why loved ones passed, why we feel pain in our hearts and are persecuted when we are trying to be good. Well, sometimes Bad can do some Good. It feels really weird hearing new material of his from around the time of his passing. Makes it almost seem like he's still around which is... bittersweet.

Chris was an inspiration to myself and so many others. So many conflicting feelings while listening to this after his passing. Nevertheless his voice lives on. RIP Chris. Nobody sings like you anymore...

This is so, so sad! Lyrics are.. just like he is saying goodbye, and that he'll be ok, and we too should! I miss you so much man! Can't stop the tears! Especially every time I see something new from you! May God give you the kingdom of Heaven!

Took me until Friday night to steel myself to finally listen to this song. I was so looking forward to it being released, but actually pushing play ended up being hard. Miss him so much. Of course, I've listened to the song at least a dozen times since then. I love it. No one sings like you any more. 💙
