This song was beyond phenomenal. The first proper contract job I got was to maintain generators for a series of communication tower generators scattered along mountaintops. I had to visit them at odd hours. Sometimes in the dead of night when all was quiet. Sometimes as the sun burst through the early morning mist and spilled itself upon the ridges when everything was breathless. Somehow I remember this tape always being in my vehicle when those dramatic scenes unfolded. When it came to this song I would rewind it and listen to it a second time. And then, just to make sure sure that it was really as beautiful as I had imagined, I sometimes rewound a third time. I never grew tired of this song. It holds nothing but happy memories.
