Step 4: Framing price & close Normally, agencies charge 20% the value you'd get only in the first year. Thats 20% of 1.25mil = ~240k and I can solve that for you. How do you want to guarantee it? If can't guarantee it. If I could guarantee it, the number would be close to 1.2mil. The higher the price of the solutio, the less risk there is. So if I am to come up with some solutions, I need a few days, to write a plan for you and Iwill come up with a few pricing options.Are you ok with me doing that?

Aside from Chris's brilliant way of defining value and putting a price tag on it, he's also using the rules of commitment and consistency. He's making the client say in their own words how much THEY think the value is. Very important, if you make them say it they are committed to that thinking and it will force them to be consistent with that - otherwise they'll be seen as unstable and unreliable if they back track, especially when both parties agree.
