Whoever understands business, will clearly see the ammount of value Chris gets from a situation like this. Exposure, validation, traffic, recognition, proof. This is the best video I've seen of Chris Do performing everything he teaches. Not only did he show his skills, talent and experience in design, but even took it to another level when he gave a mind-blowing positive critique of the opponent's proposal. That's why Chris has become such a huge inspiration for creative professionals out there. The articulation, eloquence, body language, and confidence all while actually developing a solid design concept in real time. Truly a master of this craft. Amazing video guys.

I’ve felt inspired how professionally Chris took it. Even tho Jonathan’s logo was obviously not usable and at a context of the futur logo is just a peace of text, therefore it can’t be good.... he actually found other words than “unusable” for Jonathan’s peace of work. The way he was able to critique Jonathan’s ‘design’ showed how much of a good sport he is, and his logo and rationale showed the underpinnings of why his content is so good. Jonathan although I get it was meant to be a laugh, it would’ve been cool to see you flex your design skills a little more. Look forward to see more content from the colab

The only way this happens without stakes is for someone to take a dive, otherwise you risk an L on someone's "record" and their reputations are tied to their brands. Even if they could be good sports about a legitimate "competition", their communities might not be. It's just not worth it for anyone whose business model involves being an expert.
