I loved this series. Looking at crime from a different perspective. Michelle Dockery was wonderful! Im so impressed with her as I see her more and more, but of course already loved her from Downton Abbey. I could totally relate to her character and her responses. Not because I identified with her, but Ive seen how mothers carry guilt and this was so believable for me. I dont know how she does that with her accent. I try to mimic a British accent and it's totally bad. So how does she just suddenly sound American, albeit East Coast. Chris and Jaeden were also spectacular. Chris is a lot more likeable than I would have given him credit for. Totally not smug as one might expect (me - I would expect). He is the very picture of health and vitality, so amazing. Kudos to him for not over-acting and carrying this part so well.

okay so i’m kinda just freaking out bc jaeden and chris acted together in defending jacob, previously acted together in knives out, and PREVIOUSLY acted together in a movie called playing it cool back in 2014 and i feel like no one remembers that!! also speaking of defending jacob and knives out, jaeden plays a character named jacob in both of these. jaeden’s costar in it, wyatt oleff, plays a character named stanley in both it and i am not okay w this. they both have played a two different characters w the same name, plus wyatts character in i am not okay w this’ last name is stanley BARBER and jaeden’s character in defending jacob is jacob BARBER. they both have played barbers and they’re really good friends. wyatts also technically in the mcu bc he played young peter quill/star-lord/chris pratt. chris evans, in defending jacob, was also obviously in the mcu as captain america. i saw the ads for defending jacob and i never clocked it was chris evans. it’s crazy because when i was watching them it was just a random face and watching the trailer etc now, knowing who he is is crazy to me
