It''s fun to guess, but i'm guessing - he'll play both. The Russo's don't believe in fan service, and they are big on disrupting. The won't bring back Tony as RDJ and so ruin his death - (they took heat for that and stand bye it), they also wont bring back Smash Hulk, or.....give Bucky the Shield, or any of the dumb stuff that some toxic fans demand. But - I can see them still casting Tom Cruise as 'evil' Stark, or having Evans return the Infinity Stones, since that is an unresolved issue from their prior work. I'm sure Anthony Mackie will be back as as Falcon as well....as people forget that they are the ones who introduced that character (on your left) and made him cool - before God Knows What is done to him in Captain America 4.

I don't think it's a coincidence that they leaked the news about Chris Evans returning right before Cap 4. I think his role in Doomsday will depend on how Cap 4 performs. If it's poorly received and bombs, he will probably be Captain America again.

Wishlist... Scarlett Johansson will play Red Widow, a member of doomsday crew. Mark Ruffallo will be in 2 roles, one being the Maestro. Hayley Atwell will return as Captain Carter. Zendaya will be in 2 roles, one being Spider-Woman Variant. Michael b Jordan will be Erik Killmonger, the black panther (it will be revealed he was taken in by tchaka and after tchallas death in the alternate timeline he became the black panther) Daniel craig will appear as Baldur the Brave. A Variant replacing Thor in a certain universe. Jacob Batalon will reportedly play Hobogoblin, a member of Dooms crew. Loki will also be in doomsday. Lashana lynch will be Binary, who it will be revealed that the universe Monica entered at the end of marvels is the fantastic four universe. Chris Pratt will play a variant called Ego II. Ryan Reynolds will play a deadpool Variant called PrickPool who is part of dooms crew

I've said this once I think that the Post credit scene with the portal opening when Gambit was abandoned in the void ..that was no other than The Sorcerer Dr Von Doom .. Doom is putting together a team everyone else left him he would indeed flee the void to join forces with Doom

That would be pretty cool to see. Personally I don't see Gambit teaming up with Doom. Gambit just saw what giving too much power to someone did when he and his friends were on the run from Cassandra Nova. Maybe if Doom downplays who he is a lot and lies to Gambit, but Doom is one of the most egotistical characters in the comics. He is usually super theatrical and refuses to let anyone think he could be less than he is. We'll see how they handle this version of Doom though. I've heard this won't be the final Doom since they are kind of soft-rebooting the MCU after Secret Wars so you could be onto something. Either way, I'm excited to see where all of this goes.

I think that's his point. All these twitter "scoopers" suddenly can confirm he's playing this version only after a different bigger scooper claimed it was true. They didn't know a thing last week before The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Evans was returning, but now they supposedly know every single detail of his character. I'm leaning towards it being Nomad. Doom doesn't need an A-Team of heroes turned villains to fight the Avengers when we don't even have an Avengers team to fight yet. I'd rather see Doom shine on his own than bring in people to fight for him.
