As a teen in the 70s and 80s I was mesmerised by this guy's sci-fi art and his ability to transport you to far away, bizarre and imaginative alien worlds through concept art. Amazing talent and pure genius imagination!

The painting shown at 1:17 is superb, even by Chris's standard. I've never seen it before.

The first photo is a double-spread in the book "Hardware", the opening music is by Aphex Twin. It can't really get any better.

What a great piece they did on Chris, so good to have it on this channel 🙂 Surprising he never actually read the books.

Ah the Brutalist forms for his ships makes more sense knowing he lives near the Todt fortifications in Guernsey. No doubt where he took some inspiration.

With todays methods for making movies that Jodorowsky's Dune should be made and it would be possible.

Rob Moore claims to be a big Sci-Fi fan, but there is no way that the painting he refered to in 1:15 is from Dune. German fortifications?!
