Some years ago I was very fortunate to be given a present of a 2 day driving experience at Fiorano. I drove many laps in 430s and 599s. The 430s were quick but the 599s were in a different league. The 599 had a V12 engine with 620 bhp and was brutally fast. I can hardly conceive what a 830 bhp V12 is capable of. I was asked what speed I had reached on the straight in the 599. I replied truthfully that I did not know as my full concentration was getting the braking correct for the right hander at the end of the straight and I never looked down at the speedo!

@@Dathumm I agree with you on the last one. Models like the 911 GT3 or 718 GT4 are great cars. But everything else? I dont know man... The Macan is a disgrace to the Porsche Heritage, just like the Cayenne (which at least is a bit luxurious and doesn't use Tiguan engines and parts and comes with a V8). I just dont get it that the entrance 718 models now have a 4 banger in them. The old ones sounded so good and werent that much slower, surely they couldve given the 718 S an upgrade NA 6 cylinder engine with similar specs but they chose the generic option of a 4 banger. Also the new 911s sound like Vacuum cleaners which is also a shame considering how decently they perform (992 turbo s).
