Chris Harris is the definition of a true car enthusiast. His enthusiasm is unmistakable for the subject. For a fellow car nut it is pure joy to hear someone get excited about the same shite as I tend to. I went back to watch since Chris doesnt do many interviews and I was once again struck with Matts elitist attitude. Ever wonder why people like Chris have the following...just take a quick look at their character and how they treat others. Its not onky because he can stick a car sideways within an inch of its life at any given time. I always want to like Matt and never comment of much if anything, but just cant do the elitist and proud, yet guilty, yet very proud bit. Anytime any social topic arises Matt must show how blue he believes his blood is. This is very unbecoming kind sir. It appears to make his guests feel very uncomfortable, even Chris seems awkward at several points in this interview. My unsolicited advice for Matt would be to try and be like his friend Mr. Harris and just be yourself! Be humble, Dont try and be your father or anyone else. Just be the car nut that you can be and drop the wannabe sophisticated, liberal bit. When you do the content can be quite good. When you throw your nose in the air and look down on others it can be borderline nauseating yet laughable if you know what I mean. We have all known someone like this and it comes off as very poser to thw rest of us. Shit why did I even watch this ohhhh yes because listening to Chris talk proper car nerdery outweighs all. Also since Im apparently ranting, which I NEVER do especially anywhere online, maybe try and get Zach more involved the conversation instead of having him bring you drinks. Raising others around you to greater heights is very rewarding if you dont practice it regularly. Not sure if Im the only one thinking this but Ive been wanting to say that for about 10 years and have always used restraint. I dont intend my comments to be hateful, quite the opposite.
