On this special episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the guys are joined by the "Demo God" himself, Chris Jericho! Topics include Chris "stealing" the Undisputed Championship, WrestleMania 2000, working with Shawn Michaels, Chris' latest WWE run, and much more! Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Conrad Thompson to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

What a dumb comment. Of course someone would take creative control over money if he already made money like Jericho did. But if someone like you says that who hasn't even made big money in wrestling then it sounds just stupid

Didn’t he just say they don’t have creative control?

It's so unbelievable how much AEW has achieved that even in all of that explanation even Jericho leaves out the pandemic. Been a helluva ride. Over achievement personified.

Jericho's 100% right. He had such a tough job early on and he nailed it.

I feel like I hear the same thing in these interviews with these former stars. Jericho especially. It’s basically “Oh we have more control here” and “I didn’t like what happened at the end of my run” everytime. But interesting how he decided to trademark sports entertainer as some kind of joke.

Well, the term "sports entertainment" is a joke to most wrestling fans. Jericho was the first person within the business to take advantage of that.

I feel agents are a huge part of the business. I can definitely see it when I watch WWE.

Now we wait for “ Chris Jericho going from AEW to WWE “

Maybe Chris felt that way at the time, but no it wasn't a risk for Chris to go to AEW. Or Moxley. They are made men in the business. If AEW didn't work the WWE would still want them back. It was more of a risk for people like Cody and Brodie Lee.

It was a risk for Kenny and the Bucks...they turned down huge deals from WWE.
