Loved it - this song has such an authentic vintage feel to it! The film footage brings me back to growing up in rural Minnesota during the mid-1970’s and the old folks my dad interacted with for various needs - eggs, home made sausage, etc. Most were first or second generation immigrants and many spoke English with the strong accent of their homeland - usually Germany. I remember thinking how “different” these people were from modern society in the way they spoke, to the way they made their living, to their approaches and opinions on ordinary topics. Almost like having a window into another place and time! Of course, most have been dead now for many years, but I consider myself fortunate to have these memories of folks who were so very different than the people you come across in day-to-day life today!

Imagery here is SUPERB! Great job. I have been a fan of Chris (saw him outside Richmond a few years back) for a long time. Sucker for a pithy lyric and he is one of the best.
