@@imhotep19 forget Pickett. forget Trubisky. The two best QBs are Mason and this very talented no 4 on the list. I know it ...and Tomlin knows it. Trubisky was grabbed for insurance....and Pickett was about the Rooney's and their guilt for not choosing Marino back in the day. Picket isn't 1/2 the QB as Marino. 1. Chris 2. Mason 3. Mitch A distant 4. Pickett Mason should start and Chris should be on his tail the first time he falters badly.

Idk about having a big arm I seen a lot of his deep passes being a little short and off the mark a bit, the receivers had to change directions to make the catch on the fly. He is honestly not that accurate. Oladokun has not played much in the College ranks and has completed a mere 51% of his passes during his time behind center. He's mobile but I honestly do not believe he will out perform Mason Rudolph as QB3. Mason has the experience factor. I just think Oladokun is too raw, but you never know. Mason most likely get cut not because of Oladokun's camp performance but to save money.

a 5 year vet who sat behind one of the greats for 4 year then who got thrown into the mix his 2nd year with no warning. went 7 4.. no too shabby. also 6 5 240. also one tough son of a gun. or a player that 2 teams gave up on. one of the teams who made the playoffs twice one year being 8 8. and the management still gave up on 5th year option. also runs out of a clean pocket constantly. new to offense or a rookie that tragedy forced us to pick. who has small hands. who first 4 years in college were terrible and the new pay players rule that passed alot of acc defenders went to better known colleges. not saying he can't be good but he's just not bringing anything to the team that we don't already have .. you be the coach

Don’t wanna get hypnotized by a highlight reel but it looks as though his feet are calm in the pocket, arm strength is legit, BUT he can apply touch to his passes as needed. All good things to see from a young QB. Size and mobility obviously stick out too. Inferior competition but unless you’re playing in the SEC or Big Ten everyone will have some of that

The Steelers should wait until another team has an injury at QB during training camp and try to get a decent draft pick for Rudolph. I mean, how much less confidence can the Steelers show in him than signing a free agent and then drafting 2 QBs. Rudolph is not terrible, I think his record with the Steelers is about .500 and he would be one of those situations where he would do better with a change of scenery. My own opinion is that Trubisky is going to light it up, and turn Pickett into Jordan Love.

It's not really about showing a lack of confidence. We lost 3 QBs this off-season, Ben retired, Dobbs signed with another team, and Haskins (RIP). Regardless of who was left on the roster we were always going to pick up 3 more QBs.

He has an NFL arm and good ball placement. This dude could become a starter one day, or a very good backup QB, he just needs the coaching.
