Chris Paul's "no help" in his playoff career 1. Having a 20+ ppg teammate in all four 2nd-round series exits (2008, 2012, 2014, 2015) 2. Had Blake Griffin lead the Clippers in scoring in each of their last three 2nd-round exits (2012, 2014, 2015) 3. Having a 22-24 ppg and 11-15 rpg teammate in 3 of his 4 series wins - proving he can't consistently win without a stacked amount of help. 4. Having teammates Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan lead all players on both teams in PPG, RPG, BPG in each of his last 2 series wins, of 4 total series wins in his career (2014 and 2015 1st Rounds) 5. Clippers being good enough to steal a 1-1 split on the road against the 2015 Rockets without Chris Paul. Griffin averaged 30-15-9 on 52% in those 2 games without CP3 to set him up. 6. Blake Griffin shooting 66% in the 4th quarters / OT of the 2014 Playoffs. From 2001 - 2017 when shot-by-shot data is available, this is the 2nd-highest 4th/OT FG% anyone has shot in a playoff run after Dwight Howard's 68% in 2009 (minimum 40 FGA) If Chris Paul actually was anywhere near as good as his apologists claim, he easily would have easily made several WCFs with that help. And a minority of CP3 fans have the audacity to claim he's in Magic Johnson's league. Would you honestly expect a real top 5 all-time PG to never make a Conference Finals while losing to 0 Finals/Title teams and having that much help? Any true top 6-7 all-time PG, perhaps even lower, easily would have done so and some of them would make the Finals or win it all. The Rockets go as far as James Harden, not Chris Paul, takes them. If the Rockets win a series, Chris Paul will not be the best player in more than half of his career playoff series wins (Blake/Deandre led all players on both teams in PPG/RPG/BPG for 2 of his 4 series wins). The only way for the overrated Chris Paul to pass the 2nd round is to play second fiddle, he's a follower not a leader.

Nobody Touches Jordan The problem is Blake was injured all the fucking time, and his team was the one who always choked not him.

And since you seem like a stat head give this article a read fivethirtyeight.com/features/its-not-chris-pauls-fault/
@NobodyTouchesJordan7 жыл бұрын
Blake was only injured in 2016 and 2017. Players have led their teams deeper in the playoffs than CP3 while dealing with more injuries 2005 Suns Steve Nash led them to the WCF despite Joe Johnson missing more than half the 2nd round due to a broken orbital bone 2006 Suns Amare missed the entire playoffs and Raja Bell was suspended for the elimination Game 6 against the Lakers. Raja Bell also missed 2 of 6 games in the WCF against the Mavericks. Steve Nash still led both teams to back to back WCF while averaging over 20-10 in both playoff runs. This makes him the only player with Magic and Kevin Johnson to average 20-10 in multiple playoff runs lasting 3 rounds or more, despite dealing with far more injuries than CP3 That article bring little statistical evidence to prove that it's not CP3's fault. They just brought up the draft acquisitions and didn't look at any of the factual stats I posted in the original post. it doesn't mention that CP3 had - a 20+ PPG teammate in all 4 second-round exits - Blake and Deandre leading all players on both teams in PPG/RPG/BPG for 2 of his 4 series wins - CP3 had 22-24 PPG and 11-15 RPG from a teammate in 3 of his 4 single series wins - never faced a team that went on to make the Finals after beating him. 2017 1st Round vs Jazz CP3 had 2 points on 1/9 FG in the 2nd half of Game 7 CP3 had 0 points on 0/8 FG after the 11:00 mark of 3rd quarter also not mentioned by that article it removes all the evidence that shows CP3 chokes and only nitpicks at the negatives of his teammates while never mentioning their positives. It mentions that CP3 has good playoff stats, but it doesn't mention that he played 9 of 13 series in the 1st round and never faced a team that went on to make the Finals. playing almost all his series in the 1st round and never facing the best teams makes it far easier for him to put up big stats compared to true greats. Rod Strickland 1994 - 1997 Playoffs 4 of 4 series in 1st round 21.7 ppg - 5.1 rpg - 9.5 apg 2.9 TOpg - 45% FG Chris Paul 2008 - 2017 Playoffs 9 of 13 series in 1st round 21.4 ppg - 4.7 rpg - 9.4 apg 2.7 TOpg - 48% FG 1994 - 1997 Strickland faced 2 championship teams to CP3's 0 Finals/Title teams. Averaged more PPG, RPG, APG on less efficiency and slightly more TOpg. Obviously CP3 maintained his stats for a longer time so he's better, but the point is the same that it's much easier to put up big playoff stats in CP3's ideal circumstances.

"and his team was the one who always choked not him." False 2008 WCSF Game 7 CP3 0 points on 0/2 FG, 1 ast to 1 TO in the last 6:50 2009 1st Round completely outplayed by Chauncey Billups 2012 WCSF CP3 - 13-4-9 on 37%, 4.5 TOpg Griffin - 21-8-2-1-2 on 47% 2014 WCSF CP3 - 2 TOs in the clutch of Game 5, fouled Westbrook on 3 outplayed by Westbrook for the series 2015 WCSF blew a 3-1 lead Gmae 6, up 13 entering the 4th quarter 4th quarter CP3 1-6 FG, 1 reb, 0 ast, 0 stl, 0 blk before a buzzer beater 3 in garbage time to make it 2-7 2017 Game 7 2 points on 1/9 FG, 4 ast to 2 TOs in the 2nd half

Facts because he joined the team that beat him after he was up 3-1 and choked the 3-1 lead to them just to make a cakewalk to his 1st Conference Finals Appearance after Harden and the Rockets made the Conference Finals without him which is the reason why CP3 will never be in the same conversation as Harden All Time because without CP3 running to Harden's team he would only have 1 Conference Finals Appearance in his entire career All thanks to D Book and the injuries that helped him get there in 2021 💯
