Chris Rock is a hypocrit because he was accused of rape and settled his case. Now this went under the radar. If he went on stage to slap Will Smith, you all would be applauding him. 🤣

I never gave Chris Rock a second thought before any of this, while I respected the hell out of Will Smith for years. Now, I have immense respect for Chris Rock and could*n't* (thank you "Sloppify" for catching the sloppy expression) care less if I ever lay eyes on Will Smith again on screen. I realise he's human and doesn't deserve to be defined by this one moment, but I cannot respect him (or his wife) in the same way or even enjoy their performances to the same degree. And if I ever hear him interviewed about this again, I doubt I'll be bothered to listen. He's handled this whole thing disgracefully. And that wife of his just appears (to me) to be beneath contempt.

They really don’t. Only one of them. Too many of “us”. Will did what alot of people wished they could do; pop somebody for talking slick at a work function, and still have your job in the morning. Everybody just went back to work the next day

@@bladebrown4191 True. And also not the point. People have been commenting for nearly a year about losing respect for Smith, Hollywood, Americans (etc); and I'm pretty sure those making the comments also could not be bothered caring whether the subject or subjects of their ire care about their spectators' loss of respect for them.

I Love it! ❤❤ I have a whole new respect for Chris Rock. Chris didn't have to talk about it before he was good and ready. Nor did he have to "sue" for damages... Because he actually cashed in waaaaay more this way than he ever could've in court. Showing us how a real man conducts himself like a Gentleman. You have made "Us" proud. 😍 Talk about turning Lemons into a continuous stream of Lemonade!! #KudosChris #DrinkUp🍹 🍹🍹💲🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

Chris Rock took a slap by Will Smith and still continued hosting without drama. A year later he ridiculed all the nonsense from Smith, the media and reactionaries. He knew the score of the game and played it to a sold-out show.

As Chris stated, this was never really about him or a harmless joke. It was and always has been about a wife publicly humiliating her husband, disgracing her family, disrespecting her children and rubbing Will's face in it in a public forum. Then to add insult to injury, she brilliantly manipulated the situation to make it appear as if she was the victim. Truth hurts!!!

@@nsasupporter7557 Yeah I get it. Will was a ticking time bomb and the slightest thing could have (and did) trigger his reaction. As I said in my original statement, it wasn't about the joke. It was a culmination of events that had been simmering underneath the surface for A LONG TIME! Hurt, shame, embarrassment, you name it. And Jada played a large role in that so she was partly responsible imo.
@nsasupporter7557 Жыл бұрын
@@Greg_211 what I don’t understand is if it had been culminating for a long time, why did he laugh at the joke first? 🤨🫤 it wasn’t until he looked over and saw Jada’s reaction that caused him to slap him
