Chris honestly held back when it came to talking about Will and Jada. He could have gone a LOT harder, but it would have really ruined Will's life if he went full throttle. I think Chris knows that and decided not to go as hard as he could have. No mention of how Jada still idolizes Tupac, to the point where her daughter wrote a letter to the dead rapper begging him to come make Jada happy. No mention of the infamous poem. Mentioned the red table talk, but didn't fully go in, as it was filled with material for Chris to use. Chris Rock had a YEAR. He showed mercy here.

Pac been ruining Big Willy's life from -beyond the grave- Belize for *decades* at this point. Jada probably has a Death Row Records lower back tat & owns every Outlawz mixtape. *Apparently* The girl daughter got some sort of bizarre concept in her head that Tupac was her father. I can't be bothered to look further into that... *Perhaps* Will's son has a similar vision & 2Pac *spoke* to him? *"You'd be looking too fly in a dress, little man! & Give ya Moms a smack on that fine ass for me!"*

Well said. I personally thought that Chris showed a lot of restraint in the (live) special when he discussed Will and Jada and the slap. Just like some of the stuff that went through his head at the Oscars before he composed himself, Chris DID use a filter, and kept some things to himself. He was a Professional, (RESPECT) and Will’s extremely hard slap didn’t even make Chris’s knees buckle. He may be smaller than Will Smith, but he’s still pretty tough.

The most brutal part, he waited until it started to blow over and be forgotten by the public. Chris said "Nah, fuck that, shits getting too quiet". And then brought it up making it as popular as ever, just when Will was probably thinking the worst was behind him and Chris wasn't going to do shit lmao. I tell you one thing, Chris just hit him a whole lot harder and dealt more damage than what Will did to him at the Oscars... 🤣 This was so much better than releasing a bit about it a month or two after the fact where it would be expected and then forgotten about by now. This was absolutely genius, from the writing, delivery, but more importantly, the timing of it was perfect. Even funnier, I've heard Will is trying to get Netflix to remove that whole bit about him and the incident, what a bitch move...and even if he did, its 2023, that bitch is all over the internet, its not going anywhere. Besides, Will, he did exactly what you asked of him.. He kept your wife's name out his fuckin mouth, you never said anything about yourself.. and unfortunately for both you and Jada Shaku- Smith, I meant Smith......we all knew exactly who he was talking about, that's not his fault, you should of been more specific on what you wanted kept out of his fuckin mouth, that's on you. I know consequences and self accountability don't mean anything to these Hollywood Elites, but if it wasnt for making that decision at the Oscar's, that bit you want removed wouldn't be on his special, it wouldn't exist at all for the matter. This is all happening because of your actions and decision making during the biggest awards show of the year (the biggest award of your career) which was broadcasted live to millions of homes... What did you think would happen? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, and this is a rare situation in which there's no amount of fame and/or money that can fix it for you, you cant pay off the court of public opinion. Trying to have the joke removed (im sure by making threats of some sort) instead of accepting it and rolling with the punches is just making things worse for you in the eyes of everyone too. That's horrible logic, be grateful for ppl disrespecting your life's work including your life, in hopes you may get more fans... nah it don't work like that. Chris Rock is a legend, the man's 58yrs old FFS, he don't need help from a washed out has been to get up, if anything he brought frsh prince back up lol. Rock hosted the Academy Awards twice; in 2005 and 2016, and was involved in an incident with Will Smith on stage at the 2022 Awards. ⇐ list little tit bid at the end of his pages of career accolades... yeah, super helpful lol, seems more like will was committing career 😵 if anything...

Rock was one of the top ten comedians of all time. Will Smith didn't have anything to do with Chris's success

The fact Holywood stood up to clap exposed them all.

It's not news. They gave Roman Polanski a standing ovation. He drugged, raped, sodomized a child. They know this. It's not even in question. But they all stood up for him. That's Hollywood.

OMG, everything that Joe Rogan says “Eeewwew, everybody in show business is so fake and shallow, gross.” And then he acts like he’s not exactly one of them.

I think Chris's response during his special was done as classy as possible. He could have went in countless directions when it came to addressing the slap but what he said boasted why Will is/was so respected and I felt pointed out the actual toxic person in the Smith household.

I can’t stand Jada. But if you read Will Smith’s book it’s so obvious he is a controlling narcissist and egomaniac. He was awful to every girlfriend. I was shocked that when I finished reading it, I felt a little sorry for Jada. And I really dislike her so it’s saying a lot. I used to think Jada was the problem but after getting a better look at his behavior I realize that they’re both toxic. I wasn’t surprised when Will slapped Chris Rock because his book makes it clear that he thought he was untouchable. There’s a part in the book where Will is talking about sleeping around after his gf cheated when he was away on tour. This is what he wrote: “I had sex with so many women, and it was so constitutionally disagreeable to the core of my being, that I developed a psychosomatic reaction to having an orgasm," he wrote. "It would literally make me gag and sometimes even vomit." This is just absolutely ridiculous. He’s “so good,” so moral, that he’s vomiting from orgasms. 🙄 His ego is crazy AF. Both Will and Jada are toxic.

@@BbGun-lw5vi I haven't read his book but I have always maintained a healthy respect for the image he's managed to maintain for himself despite not cursing in his music. I can see how a person who has had a career as long and prosperous as his could grow into a confused adult. Especially if he's living with the duality of feeling one way and having a brand that depends on on him presenting as another. We all have to sleep in the beds that we make for ourselves, it's just a whole lot easier if you don't have to wake up and put on a mask to continue to thrive but then again, he is an actor and that's the life he chose. I've been promiscuous enough during the time I was a high functioning alcoholic to sadly share a level of disgust at the thought of being with a woman whome I don't have an emotional attachment to. It didn't come quickly but more so an accumulated complex borne out of repeating an act that I knew I was just doing out of habit or simply because I could. Not that it's important but I gave up alcohol in 2019 so I'm grateful to not share the outlook, habits and and mental turmoil of that version of myself anymore.

@@Namdrac I agree and understand how Will would grow into a confused adult. I also totally understand being disgusted with yourself for being promiscuous. Makes perfect sense. But Will isn’t just saying he’s disgusted. He’s saying he’s “literally”gagging and vomiting after an orgasm. And he only slept around for a couple of months so it’s not like he developed this reaction after a long time. He has so many stories like this one. I’m very glad you got sober and have been able to maintain it for this long.

I feel this with Harry and Meghan. Both couple are this kind of narcist egomaniac who complete each other. And while the male looks like the victim/bottom, they still ass to deal with.
