I had the great honor of meeting and talking to Chris at a Gala in our home town in June of 2014. He was actually camping in a camp ground that was in our back door. My wife and I rode motorcycle the next day to the camp ground and again had the pleasure to converse with him and his lovely wife Morgan. The next weekend he was playing near us once again. I actually got to go beside his new bus and take pics and talk with him and Morgan again. Almost 3 years past, my wife and I got to meet him once again at a concert in Roanoke Va. He is a genuine super nice guy!!!!! We are fans for life. Love his music!!!! Congrats Chris on all your accomplishments!!!!!! Ready for next album.

Best album I've ever purchased in my 33 years....and if you think his album is good.....go see him live if you're able. Truly the best concert I've been to. Yeah, i got to meet him and shake his hand and yes, I was center stage 2nd row back, but I could've enjoyed his music sitting in the lawn way in the back because he is just that good...and the one quality that i really love about this guy, is that he is humble. This is who I am....take it or leave it. If you love me fine....if you hate me fine, but i gave you all I have and you can really see that come out in his music...you can feel that he gives everything that he has. I told him that he is the best country artist ever and he said, "Well, thank you..I appreciate that."

I first heard Christ Stapleton while heading west on HWY 40 somewhere near Winslow Arizona. I had been driving for a little over 14 hours, heading out west to Reno, then Redding, and finally San Francisco, and the sun was on it's way towards setting over the desert. All of the FM radio stations had long since died, so I flipped on AM and started surfing. After one full cycle through the static, I heard the soft voice of what sounded like a native american man speaking. The station that had managed to break through the static was a little Navaho radio station from the reservation just north of where I was on HWY 40. And after introducing the next song as 'one of my favorites,' the host played Parachute by Christ Stapleton. So here I am, driving into the sunset, my wife is sitting sleepily in the passengers seat beside me, my best friend is sitting in the back seat reading, and I can't get over how amazing this song is! I became an instant fan, and Chris's music etched itself into one of the best trips of my life. 2 weeks after returning, my best friend left for the Navy, and my wife and I finalized plans to move to Kansas City. The whole trip was poignantly bitter sweet, much like Chris's music.

I feel like Chris isn't entirely comfortable with the fame aspect of his career. It's just a byproduct of sharing his talent that he has to endure. He's humble and just wants to sing his songs. For me, Chris is the best artist of all time. His relationship with Morgane is beautiful, and that they share the stage is wonderful. Added to that, Morgane isn't a nepo addition to the stage. She is a very talented woman in her own right. I think it is fair to say that she has been instrumental in pushing Chris out into the forefront, and for that, I thank her.

Just got this album for my birthday after only hearing him on an awards show playing one song! Told my wife this guy is amazing and before I knew it, he's playing in my car constantly. Someone posted on here earlier that it was the best piece of music he's heard in twenty years, and I've gotta admit he's damn close! Fantastic voice and playing. Next, I want to hear him live (maybe this year?). Way to go Chris!

Words are completely inadequate for how wonderful this album is and how much joy listening to it has given me. First heard him through a co worker who's wife had died (a widower) Tennessee Whiskey was their song. Cuts to the core of me to hear it. Stapleton's remake was pure soul/blues injected into it.
