Chris' wife, Morgana, was asked about the song because the story goes that she was taking too long doing her makeup and told him to go write something, which led to the song. The narrative was about how great Chris was because he could write so fast, but she gave a twist to that story. Good writers like Chris do not just write as we would think. They have ideas and melodies floating around, so they sometimes pull them out when inspired. It is the old Michaelangelo idea that the sculpted figure was already in the stone. All the artist did was pull it out. The man is clearly talented and very special. Become a good man. Find a good woman. Raise good children. Chris and Morgana are certainly working on that, and I wish them luck in dealing with distractions and temptations.

I was watching ashow not sure what network and they were interviewing Chris and his wife. They started talking about this song, believe it or not the story is he was waiting for his wife to finish getting ready to go she told him “write a song or something don’t rush me” he wrote this song in like 10 minutes. God given gift.
