Thanks for reacting to this. This is a great song but always a hard video for me to watch because I lived it. I wasn't the one that found my wife when she took her life almost 2 years ago now but I can relate to everything in the song, especially trying to be there for someone to help them through the dark times. CS, was later introduced to and became an advocate for"The Campaign to Change Direction", an advocacy group to educate people about Bipolarism. His record label has been on him to create a music video (other than his live performances), so he used the song as a vehicle to for Bi-Polar education.

I’ve seen a lot of people miss the meaning of the video. If you haven’t experienced this in your life you are lucky. It is very hard to live with or live with someone who has it. I’ve done both and this video breaks me every time I watch it.

I can’t reconcile with the fact that whatever God gives you is for your good. My son passed away when he was just 21 after being hit by a car. How can that be good. People say that God is testing me. That he doesn’t give me more than I can bear. Don’t question why. Well, I want to know why. According to that idea, after being in an abusive marriage and losing my son I must be the strongest woman. I’m not. I am destroyed. My heart is broken. How can people say that this is a test or a lesson from God?

You'll never sense god with that "poor me" attitude.. it's all perspective hun. When you get on the right side of it, It'll all make sense. I'm 29, made fun of religious people most of my life, done every drug you can think of, constant hurt in my life. When I made the choice to get on my knees every night everything changed. & sometimes it's not that you're not talking to some "figure in the sky" its the fact that you got on your 2 knees on a dirty floor, surrendered, & asked for help
