I think that's why he doesn't play the guitar much, trying not to step in anyone else's territory (because he is always a gentleman on stage, so respectful to other musicians!) Marcus King opened for Chris Stapleton when I saw him in concert in September. I hadn't heard of Marcus before, but I was super impressed and thought he was a perfect fit for that tour! Loved his voice ... similar style to Chris. I concur with that recommendation, for sure! 😁
