I know I'm two years too late on this video, but his voice and the subject of the song transcends culture and genre. He is singing what every single person whos ever lived has felt at one time. The pure frustration and helplessness to where all you got is to cry. And his voice makes you FEEL it. Best of our lifetime.

This song is my anthem since my husband died. It's been 9 years and I just can't let him go. He was my true soul mate for 32 years and he still is my soul mate and will be forever.

I understand. I'm trying all of Chris' music tonight to add to a playlist... Tenn. Whiskey and Cold are already etched in mind...1st timer for Sometimes I Cry... I am, of course, falling in love with it and I was fine until I noticed the drop date - January 29... my father's birthdate... he's been gone now for 27 years... sometimes I still cry.

I love the Country music that you ate playing. In Country there are different style. Go back in time to 50's forward. There is a female Patsy Kline, she took Lorretta Lynn under her wing in her early year. There are 3 generation of Hank Williams, Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, and more. There are bands like Alabama,Charlie Daniel band and more. These ste s few of many for your journey music Journey.

To hear one of the most beautiful country songs written, listen to "Til I Can Make It On My Own" by Tammy Wynette. It's an emotional ride, but I wouldn't call it a tear jerker. Then, go for "The Grand Tour" by George Jones. It IS a tear jerker. The first one is Tammy singing to George after they divorced. The next one is George singing about Tammy after their breakup/divorce. They are both country masterpieces sung by country legends.
