I disagree. I think she had knowlege and suppressed it. She destroyed her sim card and directed the officers' enquiries of her. The interviews and taped calls with her are almost unbearable to watch/listen to. She was never investigated properly. Her behaviour is almost hysteric and manipulative. Why does this woman get away? Watts confessed, but has never told the truth. She has involvement.

The video on Chris Watts' girlfriend is the conclusion. I will publish the complete analysis at the end of this month. It is lengthy. Some in the public have an obsession with the belief she (and others) helped Watts murder his pregnant wife and daughters. The emotional reaction to the case makes it difficult to use objectivity. I hope to challenge a team of experts to "push back" against my conclusion, carefully analyzing the interview, and come to their own conclusion. "Push back" is a technique we use in analysis. We begin by presupposing innocence and believing the subject. When sensitivity indicators are present, we attempt to explain them or discount them, whenever possible. Therefore, if deception is concluded (and in this case, deception about the crime, not attendant guilt) it is because the subject overcame our ability to hold to our position innocence. In other words, the subject had to talk us out of the presumed position. Science must be challenged. It's a great learning opportunity

Not that Nicole participated,, but she was evasive with the FBI. Her interview answers were convoluted. I think she is untrustworthy. Also, she wasn’t humble and sorrowful for her involvement (even if she wasn’t involved in the killing). She was defensive and was more worried about herself than giving straight answers. Prideful. At the very least, she was justifying her behavior and didn’t seem shaken up by what happened. Not a nice person. If I were her, I’d change my name and get plastic surgery to hide my identity.

You have to wonder then, why there is so much focus on someone who had nothing to do with the murders, instead of drilling down on what is wrong with Chris, and what in his childhood made him that way, because his mindset is the result of serious child abuse from 0 to 5 or 6. If you're going to be antisocial, as in antisocial personality disorder (aka psychopath), like he is, that's when it happens. Yet so many people attribute his extreme psychopathic behavior to the influence of someone he was only around for a few weeks in his 30s.

I think you are completely wrong about Nicole. You seem unaware of the extent of her statements and actions that put pressure on Chris to leave his family. IMO She did inspire the killing and likely knew he was planning to take drastic action to be with her. Her answers and demeanor (lack of empathy) suggest to me that she had guilty knowledge. Not sure her knowledge amounts to a crime however.

I agree with you that she put pressure on Chris to leave his family but I don't think she wanted him to commit a crime - that would be too much hassle for her. She just wanted him to follow through on Chris' own promises to get the divorce that he claimed was happening. It wasn't. He lied to her. She got increasingly frustrated and put more and more pressure on him to leave his family, absolutely, you're spot on. And Chris, trying to avoid confrontations as he always did, "simply" killed his sick wife and little kids and dumped all three bodies to make it look like Nicole had run off with them. I don't think Nicole ever had any idea that "chill, laid back" Chris, who never argued or got violent with anyone, would kill his family.

The answer to her cell phone pinging in Frederick is well known. She drove through Frederick up I-25 to get to work. She lived about 15 minutes due south of Frederick just off I-25, and her office was up I-25 north of Frederick, then a few miles east. It's well known that the call was a phone call made as she was passing through Frederick at 6:15 am, and fits with her apparent work schedule that day, arriving at work at 6:30, working 8 hours with a half hour for lunch, then leaving at 3 pm which we have the record of. If you can't let go of that cell phone ping it's purely because you don't want to, because all the evidence of what it was is well known. Try to imagine being at a murder scene where you were involved in it. Would you make a phone call from the scene that would put you there? If anything, that phone call in Frederick is evidence she did not know what was going on. Looking for wedding dresses? I would just think about going out on a date with a guy and go online to look at wedding dresses. With the internet it's way too easy and fun to look at wedding dresses for it to mean much. The way you know Chris Watts is lying is his lips are moving.

He was very much in love with NK, would do anything to keep her and even killed his family so he could be with her. CW is extremely protective of NK, telling the interviewers to leave NK alone b/c "she's been thru enough". He said that some things he will take to his grave. Yes, CW would definitely protect NK at all costs, and just recently admitted she had seduced him (called her by a biblical name).

Exactly. If she was just driving to work, as usual, how come her phone NEVER pinged off that tower by Chris's house b4 that? It just "happened" to do that the morning of the murders? How come she suddenly didn't clock in to work that Monday morning of the murders when she ALWAYS remembered to clock in every morning until then? How in the world did a YT creator get a part of the neighbor's CCTV camera system of CW supposedly looking very much like a woman who looked a whole lot like NK (same unique hairstyle, etc.) walking out of the Watts garage that morning? NK just "happened" to ask CW to look up lyrics (which she easily could have done herself) to a song that talked about "batteries" and mentions killing your family during the time of the murders? Seriously? I really want to believe Dr. Hyatt and do not believe in conspiracies, just evidence...but too many coincidences make "a plan", they just do. We absolutely know CW did not do this alone thru evidence. Whether it can be proven in a court of law who the other people were is another thing. We do know that she is bipolar (CW & NK both said this), and maybe a very good actress. Or maybe she just didn't and these, as well as other evidence, were just coincidences. There's just too many coincidences here. Yes, that's why people still think she's involved.

Nice vid, I'm inclined to agree with you. I always got the impression that Nicole was somebody who was fairly manipulative and self-absorbed, but not somebody who was accomplice to murder. People can make assumptions about her character based on the fact that she was 'the other woman', but being willing to have an affair and being willing to murder are not the same thing at all. Look at his family. His mother is a covert narcissist who is the dominant one in the house. His father is a weak person who chose drugs to cope with her. His sister has borderline and slept around herself and no one said anything. Chris Watts has not be formed to be an individual or have opinions and real boundaries. His mother dictated how he should be. His father was no role model. Chris as a child was dependent and had to adapt to her wishes. This created so much hate in him but it took decades to explode. Shannan was dominant like his mother. He hated her for that but his mother was his only point of reference how a woman should be. His feelings of being a loser expanded. He didnt feel like a strong man. Wife disrespecting him, children wanting the mother, the 2 dominant women in his life argueing with each other. He felt burdened and then came Nicole. For the first time in his life he felt important, manly, more of himself because he was a mouse with Shannan, and sexually he could experiment...Nicole gave him the fantasy of being able to be free and start a new life. The reality was: he was married, 2-3 children, debts, toxic family, hated his job, dominant wife who would divorce him and take all his money for life, shitty image after official affair.....he had NO WAY out...and all the pills he had be taking and brutal exercises created a physical urge to come up like a volcano...He didnt want his old life anymore. At 32 he had a life but less life experience..Shannan as his first womsn, burden with debts..he could not experiment with life anymore. He was bound. The way he did it showed his rage. He hated Shannan for letting him feel like a loser. He subcounsciously hated his mom for the same cause. The thing is. It was never about the affair. It was about 2 people who wanted to demonstrate POWER. Nicole as the powerful mistress and Chris as the free man with his own choices now. @@teresev1435

The interviews quickly went downhill as NK and her father took control of the interviews, and the agents ignored blatant lies, contradictions and prevarication. The later interviews were farcical. I've seen thousands of police interviews but never seen anything like this circus. The public were so outraged that as a sop to them the agents went to reinterview Watts in prison,.....however they wouldn't let him say anything. They would ask questions and then quickly answer for him (a big no no in any police investigation and they did the same with NK to ensure she didn't incriminate herself) Also with Watts when he appeared to be about to say anything about NK they quickly interrupted and changed the subject. We have not seen NKs VERIFIED alibi anywhere in the discovery, nor interviews with her family and friends - one of whom was her partial alibi. Yet we saw full interviews with people who were only peripheral to the case, like SWs old school friends, some of whom hadn't seen her for years. Watts work mates, where even their private details, phone numbers, addressed, email addressed etc were published. But nothing from NKs side....and who interviews a person of interest in a park, with her dog? Also they never asked or answered the question, when NK told Watts to pawn his wife's wedding ring, less than 12 hours after she went "missing", how she knew SW wouldn't be returning to collect her ring, her car and all the kids meds and clothes etc. I would have assumed that under the circumstances, if she had walked out after a row, she would be returning in a few days to collect her personal stuff.

They went to further profile him, have their own questions answered and find answers for Shannans family. If you read anything else into those interviews it is because you want to. And you obviously do.

The hysteria found in the mass of the mostly older women who are convinced somehow the mistress just HAD to be involved or secretly “pulled the strings,” is a curious mixture of projection, insecurity, envy, internalized misogyny, and an inclination to be easily swayed by the most lurid or sensationalist aspects and theories of a crime or s breaking news story. It isn’t enough Watts murdered his wife and children…he must have been “forced “ or “coerced” by an “Evil queen succubus;” in other words, he had no agency, it couldn’t have been just him! Somehow, he is at least somewhat innocent. So absurd and juvenile, ugh. No wonder the poor woman went into hiding later and changed her name. Boy, was she ever right when she told Chris. “You know if you did this, it will ruin my life.” Prescient.

NK had no shame or embarrassment. She was much too hard for that. She had professional glamour photos taken for a magazine she gave an interview to......and was expecting to write a book. Until the public saw her police interviews in the discovery which created a huge backlash against her. She thought she was going to become rich and famous off this case......but when she saw the reality of the publics attitude she went into hiding instead and has now changed her name and moved cities.

I think she put great pressure to either shit or get off the pot. but that person in nates video sure does look like a woman and why would she text CW about the battery song after. no such thing as a coincidence. I also think this NK was a dark and somewhat twisted person. She was in a fantasy land place with CW. Those interviews she did she just talks in circles and really does not give out hardly any information. She was looking at wedding dresses and googling their names so she was completely obsessed and you know damn well she remembers every word spoken between the 2.
@catspajamas2961
@catspajamas2961 3 жыл бұрын
The person in that video was Chris. She did not text Chris after the murders about the battery song. It was Chris himself who said she asked about it and he always indicated that it was at an earlier time. In the 2019 prison interview Tammy and Coder asked him about the confusion and they all indicated that his earlier mention of it referenced a time earlier than the murders. A person who had nothing to do with a murder would not have much information to give out about it. I've looked at wedding dresses because I liked a guy, or because I was bored and they're pretty. Hardly a sign of complete obsession. She probably "forgets" the facetime sex sessions.

Thanks for analyzing Nichol and giving your expert opinion. Armchair Detective and other YT'ers have already tried and convicted her because of shadows and videos that are inconclusive and would never hold up as solid evidence in court of law. Yes she was not totally forthcoming and the ping near Chris Watts ' house around 6:15am (?) is concerning but, there are many other reasons that can explain this away. If if law enforcement had any evidence she was involved she would have been arrested. These people have made her life hell by stalking and harassing her. She had to change her name with the court records under seal so no one would find out because she is in fear of her life. I hope your analysis will convince people to leave Nichol alone and accept that Chris Watts is responsible for the murders of his pregnant wife and two daughters. I hope his parents accept this too so they can move on and stop this insane situation from continuing to hurt others lives and mostly their own.

For the first time I disagree. There’s evidence that she was at the Watts house 30mins after he’d left plus she lied the whole time in that interview which can also be proven. She also spoke to Watts for 111mins just before his wife returned home. Given that her Dad was sat there and that she was the mistress her sensitivity to questions would already be high and would also show deceit because she was already lying. I love the work you do and normally I’d see each of your points but from reading the discovery and watching different things I’d say this was off because of the lies found throughout the interview 🤔

@@louisebrind8326 @@louisebrind8326 The phone call pings you are talking about do not give a specific location. They only show that she made or received a call that pinged off the Frederick tower. Since she drove within range of the Frederick tower to and from work, it's not suspicious that she made a few phone calls driving to and from work that pinged off that tower. She had cell phone pings up and down I-25 in the areas of her home and work at various times. For your theory to make sense, this woman with a 4 year degree that included passing 3 semesters of calculous, was stupid enough to take her cell phone to a murder scene that she was involved with, and was so incredibly beyond stupid that she made a phone call using her cell phone at the scene. It's beyond me that anyone actually buys that.

I think this is the best analysis I’ve seen. So many people are too quick to blame her because she is an adulterer. But adulterer and triple murderer aren’t even comparable. Quadruple if you count Niko, but I think that he pled guilty to a different charge than murder for Niko, rather for ending Shanann’s pregnancy. Chris Watts is the only person to blame. At this point, Nichol Kessinger is also a victim of his because she basically had to go into hiding and change her name because of the horrific way society has treated her. Was cheating with a married man right? No. But she is basically wearing a scarlet letter at this point, which I find pretty sad. Lots of people have cheated and the only difference is the other person did not kill their pregnant wife and kids and end up with an internationally known murder case as a result of the affair. Lots of pots calling the kettle black imo. Do I think cheating is right? Absolutely not. But I don’t think the way society has treated Nichol is right either. And I’m sure that a lot of people will disagree with me and that’s fine. Also I like that you put yourself into her shoes. People assume that her deleting her texts means she’s guilty. But like you said, almost everyone would be uncomfortable with law enforcement going through their phone and keeping it as evidence for any reason, it could even be as simple as financial reasons. They can’t afford a new phone if their phone is taken in as evidence, not to mention they lose all their pictures and other personal information like saved passwords when they change phones without being able to transfer information over first. Worst case scenario you lose your phone as well as important and memorable photos and documents. Best case scenario, the police let you transfer your old info onto a new phone that you can afford. Plus in either case law enforcement has full access to your private information, which is an invasion of privacy.

I think her pressure and ultimatums she laid out to Chris were very manipulative and she was well aware Chris was the kind of person that “does what he thinks he’s being told to do” I do not think she was realizing the pressure she was giving to him would result in what happened- I think she assumed the pressure would only result in him leaving his wife and kids. But, Chris knew Shanann would not just be “ok” with this and he was so proud of his reputation of being the “good guy, perfect father/husband” that he could not walk away and lose that pristine character he had made for himself by quiet literally everyone that knew him. - Now, how he ever assumed he would get away with this and no one would ever know or find out is way beyond me? It almost shows the very child like mind he actually has as far as common sense and knowledge. I do believe the mistress put heavy pressure on Chris to leave his family, I do believe she was very manipulative and jealous of his family, I do believe she knew more and she knew after the fact what happened- possibly even helped him with cover up stories and excuses to use in his interviews and while being questioned. As far as her helping “hands on” with the crime- I do not think she did. However, I do believe she knew very shortly after the fact and she tried to help him with his interviews and such.

It explains why Watts made mistakes and no doubt thought his g/f would believe everything she was told. Sociopaths don't meticulously plan ahead, they act on impulse which explains the place he chose to bury his family. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer by a long shot. I just wish he wasn't in protective custody. Does he deserve that? Let him out to be punished every day for the rest of his miserable life.
