My parents just came from Mazatlán and had a great time. Just after all the eclipse spotlight Mazatlán got this month. Now this video. It's on my list now! Hopefully April 2025. I'll keep the humidity in mind! Even in April, wow.

Awesome video it brings back memories as we were in Mazatlan just a few months ago. We really love the old world feel in the city and enjoyed the central market. It was so relaxing just sitting in town and watching life go by. We are really enjoying this series.

Mazatlán was my familiy's favorite vacation spot when I was a kid and we lived in northern Mexico. Today I live in Querétaro, a crucial city in Mexico's Independence, now the second richest productive city in the country and it's beautiful to explore and it's surroundings before arriving to Mexico City. I hope you get a chance to visit here. Great videos, I am enjoying them..

I could be wrong but your unknown dish at the rooftop cafe looked like a mollete (open faced sandwich) de tinga de pollo (shredded chicken in a chipotle adobo sauce). Maybe that’s why it was like barbecue. That’s my guess.

We go to Mazatlan for 3 weeks every fall. Love the people, food and sights. Pulmonias are great, up to 4 people. Little red pickups with the rack on back for larger groups. Negotiate price, don't take the 1st offer, ask if better in US$ or MX pesos.

What are you doing with Kramer when you tour Matzatlan and other stops I imagine many times you take him but are there times he stays in truck ? Are you running an AC and he stays inside. Many of these places will get warmer so was curious if Kramer is out with you at every stop
@chrisandsara9 ай бұрын
Hey! That's a really good question. Everywhere we featured in this vlog was dog friendly except for the lighthouse hike. It was about 90-95 and humid everyday we were in Mazatlan so we couldn't leave Kramer alone past about 8 or 9 am. That's the main reason we did the hike first thing in the morning so we were sure he wasn't hot in the truck. Everywhere else we went in Mazatlan was dog friendly so he was with us the whole time! Having him along with us just means having to plan our schedule to do the activities that aren't dog friendly while it's cool in the morning or evening. Certainly not that convenient but it's worth it to have him with us. :)
@sj1439 ай бұрын
@@chrisandsara thanks The dog dynamic is an element that itself is very interesting and informative. I roadtrip travel a bunch in my diesel LandCruiser pop-top with my Vizsla and find a lot of dog friendly places but it’s harder in restaurant venues etc. I may be doing a similar trip soon, so thanks for all the great videos

I’m from Lafayette, GA. Not far from your hometown of Chatt. Next time y’all are back in Chatt, I recommend y’all take a day trip to Rocktown in Lafayette. Rock climbing haven. Kind of famous in these parts. Pettyjohns cave is in that same area too. You can actually crawl down into the first room pretty easily. About the size of a gymnasium. But if you are going to go any further back in the cave, you’ll need equipment.
