This beautiful song took me back to a moment. I remember a moment, about 3 months before my mom passed having a conversation with her. She was concerned that she didn't do enough for me and my brothers. Because of the glioblastoma that was so hard for her to speak but I knew exactly what she was trying to say. I was able to look her in the eyes and tell her I love her because I'm not concerned with results because I saw a thousand percent effort. I now feel so much of her in me and I see her in my children. For a while I was very lost without her but I'm moving on and doing well because of her. My mom was an immigrant and I am so damn proud of her. I'm still waiting for her but she was beautiful her name was Yoshimi.

To be completely honest, I became aware of Cardinal Black because of Chris Buck, a treasure for guitar players. He's a standout. But the singer, who's name I still don't know, is freaking outstanding too! Very glad to see both of your stars rising. Thankful for the beauty you bring to this world.

Tom Hollister. He's the singer. He's one of the 3 original band members along with Chris and Adam Roberts the drummer. Sam Williams is the fabulous bass player and Greg Hollister, Tom's brother is the keys. The fantastic and wonderful backing singer is Tay Cousins. Remember these names. They are etched into my heart
