they all still exist and there're tons of em. if you watched one every day, by the time you wrapped around again to where you started, they'd pretty much be almost completely new to your memory. be happy that chris' life holds so much goodness amongst that he had to, is the right attitude. he could stop everything now and would've given the world more than most big musicians.

Britains best up and coming band…saw them at Leeds brudenell this year best gig I’ve been to in years. Proper band and the keyboard player wasn’t there stuck in travel chaos and they still blew the place apart. Please keep it up…music needs bands like this! In the Blossoms and Cardinal black Britain has 2 genuinely great bands who genuinely can write great tunes and still remain great people too.

Cardinal Black have that ‘distinctive and unique’ style and sound - you know it’s them soon as you hear them. This is what sets them apart - along with the superb songs and brilliant performance from all the band members. Why they’re not featuring on Jools Holland’s Later Show is beyond me… Cardinal Black are one of the finest bands this country has ever produced.

The best song I’ve heard in decades! Someone had to dig deep to bring the soul to light with this one. Chris Buck is amazing but, the entire band takes the art to a whole new level. The bar has been raised.

Have been following Chris Buck for a while which led me into Cardinal Black. Thought wow they are good with an incredible Guitar player, Singer and Band with great Harmony vocals. Next thought need to go and see them which me and my son did at Gloucester. They were superb and was great to watch them from the front at such an intimate venue. Best new band I have seen in 30 years and just about every song was a belter and boy were they tight. Such a unique sound created by some unique talents. This song (in my humble opinion) manages to combine Soul, Blues, Rock and even a bit of Disco (via that really catchy rhythm guitar riff ). How many songs can do that. Its brilliant ! Chris's guitar style is also so fresh and unique and sounds like no one else but him. Also his control of sound and dynamics on the night was an absolute masterclass.

Chris nails his solo better on this than the non live version, gorgeous guitar playing. Came for Chris but stayed for Cardinal Black. Singers voice is top notch. I'll be listening to this for a good number of times more, really top drawer stuff by the whole band.

Cardinal Black is the band that I’ve been waiting for since the death of Gord Donnie and the Hip. Completely agree style yet the tightest band in a long time. So soulful. So original. I’m 63 and have heard a lot of great music. These guys rank up there with many of their peers. Fantastic. How can anyone not love the playing of Chris Buck. CONGRATULATIONS

I was sure that "Your Spark" was my instant favourite, but now I don't know anymore after hearing "Holding My Breath" 😆 The latter's a catchy song with a distinct upbeat melody. Everything about it is good. I enjoyed every minute of it, as well as, reading the comments on the live chat. I was stunned to be honest; stoic on the outside yet screaming internally 😆I look forward to the other 2 songs 🥰
