Good morning, Chris. I love your morning walks. A fan and an empathizer. Veteran here. My story. Hard times in NYC, Almost homeless. Moved to Texas in 2004, I finished my college education, brought a home, dedicated to my art, and found peace and happiness. It's not much, but, it's all I need. 3 dogs and a cat helps. So much more to my story. My mental health was exacerbated after 9/11. Be well. Peace. DBR Artist P.S. Annie Lennox rocks!

Please keep doing the walk & talks, they're helpful and fun. I am in the middle of a transition now. Pretty sure I bounced off the bottom this weekend, so I feel that I'm on the upswing. Hard times make for strong people. I will ALWAYS get back up! Always!!! I think you really hit on something with the good times makes weak people. I'm pretty sure that's how I got here. I was also fired from my job, back in August, for no good reason and I have been hustling as hard as I can to find another job that can pay my bills while I complete my Cybersecurity degree. Then I'll be in charge of my time & get back to being financially stable. And YES to the THC conversation. I use it for physical pain and anxiety. Can't deal with Sativa, makes my brain race. I hear you & am totally here for it, the listening, the growing. Let's work on this hating ourselves thing. I am working on building the nerve to call in regards to an issue I'd like to see talked about more, because it's very important.

You are great! I'm glad you did this walk. Many of you fail to understand that we had no time to grieve. All of Sudden we didn't see the Cuomo Men who led us through difficult times. It is very good that you are talking about what you went through. Having served in the military, what you've gone through with the accusations on a High level person. But remember that people lie and have agendas. Survival comes from knowing that you fought back with your Candor, Work Ethic, Courage, and Commitment to helping improve the Lives of Millions. Cuomo Brothers gave the Sincerity, Generosity, Service to the People. Don't try to fight the world, let others help you. Stay Strong!

This was my 1st view of your walk & talk and it’s magnificent! As a person who is experiencing my own personal pain on my knees, I have to thank you because this pulled me out of bed just being depressed. Keeping it short I’ll just say, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your honesty, humility, confessing to imperfections and that you’re dealing with anxieties just like the rest of us. A recovery experience, if I may call it that. Thank you, Chris. I’m here watching and walking with you. ❤🙏🏽

I'm not sure what issue(s) you're having with your knees, but ask your doc for 5% lidocaine patches to put on them. Salon pas also has 4% lidocaine patches OTC, and they work great, as well.

He fell into a dark place. I tried to support him but as you described about being angry and feeling negative. He made poor choices won’t go into details hurts too much. You made it Chris. You put the work in. Your family is in tact, you are making a difference by sharing your turmoil with us your listeners and it is appreciated. Change can be good you are proving that to all of us. Everyone should realize the beauty of “walking” & escaping into the depths of our own minds….put some music in by all means but find a safe place, don’t take the dog, don’t walk with friends & give yourself at least an hour of uninterrupted time inside your own head…you may be surprised how beautiful & therapeutic this can be. Chris, on his walks is doing nothing more than thinking out loud as he conveys his walks to you just in the same way as your mind will explore it’s own nooks & crannies. It is an amazing exercise, physically as well as mentally but you can’t be answering phone, looking at texts & all that extracurricular, outside bullshit….this is your time with YOU.

That place in the past wasn’t isn’t the end all be all. That’s the truth. There are greater and bigger things, even greater and bigger than you can envisions. I wish you would pin the NN locator on Twitter as that would help people see it right away vs having to click on news nation in your bio and then find it. Of course we all love the calls on both shows. I only wish the call in section on the tv show were longer or there was a special section for it on Fridays which was like 15 minutes! You keep on externalizing all your feelings which I can relate to …as many of us I have no doubts. Different ages different experience… different cultures & upbringing….you seem to add to the puzzle for all the ones who listen to you when you walk n Talk It is human, it is honest, it is for us though for you too. You are not giving recipes to any of us problems…nor do you give advices… you are exposing your soul & self by just mentioning what yourself…your body & mind need. It is physical… mental… intellectual…social….emotional… sensorial…etc…It is all that for all of us…though each of us have our own dosages & needs in each of those ….Thank you Chris…. Keep Waking & Talking…you are giving to many who listen & appreciate you… maybe one day those recordings will translate into a book and it will echo to more people & you will understand your achievement 🇫🇷🇺🇸

When you always follow your heart it’s hard to get your direction when your heart is broke. We keep pushing because our elders and ancestors showed us that giving up isn’t an option. We learn and we grow. We get stronger and hopefully our children pay attention to how we all overcome our difficulties. I grew up with stories of my elders getting through the depression. When life went sideways those lessons kicked in. The world is out there ready to kick us about. We need to be strong so we are not blind victims. I’m glad you get out in nature. It’s scientifically proven that being around trees reduces stress. You are on a good path. Stay strong but don’t push yourself to hard. I always say that nobody can kick my butt better than me. Be kind to yourself. You will build and nobody will be able to take anything away again. We learn and fortify ourselves. If we see a weak spot we correct that and make it strong. Mel, not only do I agree but I love this comment. My dad R.I.P. Was a depression era guy and he would say 'Bev, we didn't know we were poor'! They were kids and they had a village. My heart has been broken repeatedly by the loss of all my siblings, I have been down but I just keep getting up. And I refuse to be unhappy! There is so much beauty, that is what I focus on!!!! Like Chris says Amor Fati, love everything that happens! Have a Free day! Free Agent Bev

You asked whether these Walk and Talks have value to your listeners: a resounding YES from this listener. I have watched this one twice and will no doubt watch more times. Your honesty is powerful, and it slices through the noise out in the world to reach this human heart. Please continue Walk and Talks. I watch once, then I re-listen while I walk. As to the [CUOMO] caller segment, YES, please keep it. It makes your program unique, less slick, more connected to your audience. . . and I'd miss Dusty! As a viewer, I work hard alongside you asking questions, really listening to answers and thinking deeply. It's tiring work, and we could all use a little levity in the last couple of minutes. . . and you are always gracious to your callers...still incisive but gentler than you were on your Sirius show, which frankly terrified me from calling in. Finally, I have bought the Free Agent merch and have one suggestion: the "Are you free?" on the back of the sweatshirt I bought for a member of my family just doesn't feel right...I get the question, but it just makes the shirt look a little (for want of a better word) goofy....the 30-year old I bought it for would wear it more but for that. You wanted feedback? Be careful what you wish for 😂 -- you teach your audience how to think, and feedback you will get! Sending you respect and admiration and gratitude for all you're bringing to the world. Rock on.

I quit watching cable news . Talking points are so boring . Love that you encourage people to take responsibility for their own beliefs. I also consider myself to be independent in my politics. I missed you and I'm glad you're still sharing your musings with us

“Hard times make strong people”, not always, I know what you mean, but it really depends on how hard and it also depends on what kind of people, “hard times”, when they’re hard enough they can either make you stronger or they can break you sometimes beyond repair. Thanks for the effort Chris, you’re a good man.

Chris, I am watching you on KZbin, so I can see where you are. A lot of what you said resonated. It's pure baby of the family stuff. I was raised Catholic and am a baby as well. We feel more than our siblings, we're hard on ourselves. Money isn't a focus, experiences and learning are. And we hate being told what to do or think. Great to see you sharing this so others know it's okay to have these thoughts and feelings .

I’m sorry that your life is in a struggle. I really like your walk & talk. The best therapy I think is talking/ communication. Keep up the good work. Great things will come your way. We must learn as we grow. We just need to believe in that old saying “ when one door closes another will open” we must be ready for when that door opens & take the chance ❤
