I have spent many years in the disaster relief industry providing aid to those impacted from storms, fires, etc...and I owe much of that to growing up watching Jerry Lewis pour his heart out every year to raise money for MDA. He was my inspiration.

This whole video touches a place so deep in my heart. As kids my parents let us stay up an "Watch the stars come out" every Labor Day weekend. Jerry was loved like a member of our family and will always be missed as one. I join my voice to the millions and say "Thank you, Jerry, for everything."

That genius arrangement of You'll Never Walk Alone was done by the genius Billy Byers. This arrangement never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Billy Byers is a legend and he arranged music for Sinatra, Streisand, and just about everyone.

Yes...the violins, the horns and the crescendo is amazing. Jerry holds his own as a non professional singer too. Of all the covers of this song Jerry's with Billy arranging is by far the best? -Chills !

Look how much behind-the-scenes WORK it takes to get it right. To get everybody co-ordinated. Even just this one short number. That's true professionalism. I've been a stage Magician for 52 years. And never worked this hard. Perhaps that's because I worked alone. Thus having Total Control. Of course I Never became as popular as Jerry Lewis !

@@fjccommish My sister-in-law told me yesterday her uncle who is in his 90s never married, told all the nieces and nephews he’s leaving $100 million to Saint Judes hospital, his entire estate. I hear ya, it was Jerry’s money it is sad to me how things turn out in the end sometimes.

Where is the problem ? That's rehearsal ! They are posing the tempo and Jerry is the singer : orchestra and pianist must follow him. He's great and professionnal. Rip, Jerry.
