It is insane to think thousands of years ago people fought these things with spears, rocks, and sticks.

First shot missed, and that bear wasn’t coming for you, it didn’t even know you were there. Great second shot though. But could you please stop making hunting into such a drama? It’s hunting. Embrace wildlife, nature, weather, the adventure.

Not to mention they're worried about the bear seeing them all the time with the cameraman out in front filming with his back to the bear.

This channel almost NEVER mentions the caliber of rifle or bullet used. VERY FRUSTRATING. I've seen others comment on the same thing on these videos, but they still wont improve their product.

Tommy missed with his first shot from a rest at 65 yards; 🙄and nails' the bear with the next shot when the bear is running 🤔😆👍

Do you spot your game from your Super-Cub ???? Do you think thats Fair Chase ??? No big secret if you spot a Bull Moose from the air, that you cant land, sleep and hike over and shoot it the next Morning,,,or a Bear in a Den,,,or a Bear on a Kill , or in Front of a moving Caribou herd, or a Full curl Dall Sheep . You know this,,,, Is it that -u-tub hunters with Super-Cubs are just better hunters or is it they spot Game from the air and have one day Hunts ???? I been hunting Alaska since 1983,,,, so i know a little. Fish and Game board is over 50 % Guides,,,,,,,Guides making Law for Guides,, what could go Wrong ??? Name ONE Sheep area thats going UP in Population ?? The Wrangells,,,,,the Brooks Range ??? Unit 19 ????? The Peninsula ??? Name one Moose area thats going up in Population ?? Dont say the Brooks Range,,,you know that aint True. How about Caribou Numbers ??? How about MT Goats,,other than Kodiak ???? How about the Fishing in Alaska ?? Did anyone catch a Big King off the Kenai,,,in the last 20 years or so ?? Are there more Kings, Silvers, Reds and Halibut these days ??? Alaska Fish and Game are Joe Biden on Steroids,,,all they do is screw up and never lose their jobs. If i was GOV, i would FIRE every single one of them. Other than MT Goats on Kodiak,,,all they do is screw up OUR HUNTING. Why is Hunting a Rich Man's sport these days ??? 30,000 dollars for a 10 day Bear hunt on the Peninsula ???? If there were NO Guides in Alaska,,,,would it still be a Rich man's sport ???? Do you have to have a Guide to surf off the Coast of Cal, or South Africa or Florida ??? Do dumb Hikers need a Guide in Alaska in Bear Country ??? How many Hikers DIE per year compared to Bear hunters getting Killed ??? Aint even Close. Guides, You do not OWN the Game and you shouldnt be the one's making Law for Yourselves, If i was GOV of Alaska, i would outlaw Guides,,,,,,,,its a money making scam thats Hurting the Game populations in Alaska,,,, thats my Opinion and most Liberals Delete free speech. To be Fair, i cant say every Guide is at Fault,,, and i'm not saying this,,,,,But to many are

Another nice bear taken from an Alaskan Resident
@chrisdorsey6287 Жыл бұрын
are you denied a tag as a resident?
@kqc8224 Жыл бұрын
Very good point Chris. As an annual Non-Resident hunter of Idaho, FnG significantly reduced the Non-Resident number of tags, to give Residents higher priority, which I feel is right. It’s very difficult for me to draw now, but that’s why FnG needs to manage tag allocation. I doubt Residents of Alaska are denied tags. Additionally, there’s always something great to get a tag and hunt for in Alaska as a Resident.
@chrisdorsey6287 Жыл бұрын
@@kqc8224 Right...I'm just not aware of AK residents being denied tags because of non-residents. How do y'all feel about western states limiting non-resident tags even on federal lands paid for by general tax dollars mostly from out of state?
@kqc8224 Жыл бұрын
@@chrisdorsey6287 Western states should Not limit non-resident tags on federal lands, paid for by general tax dollars from out of state. That rubs me the wrong way. They need to set up a system to make it fair. Non-residents pay significantly higher tag and lic prices, thus the majority of the taxes. I see this in Idaho, first hand. The state significantly cut back the quantity of non-resident tags a few years back and the area we hunt is primarily federal land. To make it worse, competing with the out of control wolf population stinks.

@@chrisdorsey6287 And I gotta add Chris, I have been watching your episodes for untold years. I appreciate your respect for the outdoors, ethics in hunting and your quality shows, very enjoyable and motivating. I've been chasing elk with a stick and hope to fill my first tag this next season in Idaho. I'm not getting any younger ;) All the best!
