My wife and I got a 2008 Evo X a couple months ago because we have a baby on the way and needed a car with a usable back seat; we've been working on getting it fixed up and un-clapped-out since the previous owners were definitely closer to teenagers than not. It feels like a car with a lot of charm, we've really been enjoying tinkering with it and fixing up some of the broken bits, and your series here is definitely providing a lot of inspiration for where the car might end up!

I had an 08 evo gsr. I traded it for a 4 runner. Someday id like to get another evo😊

Perfect 4 door car for any evo enthusiast! I like the fact that it's a big bigger than the Evo 8 even on the inside! I'm glad I can give some inspo on your build! Good luck and if you need anything don't hesitate to reach out!

@@ChrisGoorbarry Its not really bigger than a Evo 7-8-9 interior actually. the legroom in the rear of Evos 7-8-9 is over 3 inches spacier. the moderized roof style of the evo X is sleaker and slimmer withsmaller windows to get with the times of the era too

Amazing work. The fact that you cleaned everything is what I enjoyed the most. Too many ppl just gloss over that. That little attention to detail is what sets you apart. Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did everything cost?

Great storytelling! You not only pay great attention to detail with your car but also have very good video quality. I enjoyed the music edits, but what made me stay was the honesty and clarity of your voice and the feelings you can evoke in the viewer when that engine starts. We all celebrated.

Love the Evo's since GT3 and save money for my personal X since nearly 10 years now. Here in Germany the prices for good one are at about 40-50.000€. I hope to find a good one which is not so expensive until August 2026 when I turn 40. The X would be no racer but 100% cruiser on the weekend! 😊 Have very very much fun with yours!
