Let's not generalize. I come from a very abusive and neglectful "family." I was made to be afraid of everything and have lifelong scars because of it. But I have never once felt the need to do stupid shit. My first time being drunk, I was of legal drunking age, the only "drugs" I've done are mushrooms and nitrous, neither of which is a regular thing nor did they have any affect on me. I don't sleep with someone unless I love them. I have unfortunately been taken advantage of when a very bad mental state, but that's the worst I've allowed to happen. Because I know doing stupid things as an act of rebellion doesn't change things or make them better. It would never erase the trauma I went through and would possibly make things worse.

Sometimes you can't tell who somebody is once they've grown up. That somebody is not you.😊

2:03 There's one episode where the long intro of the family just smiling has one of the kids holding a chicken or duck that's pecking him. He's trying to stay still and stare at the camera while talking to his parents out of the side of his mouth, lol!

Ooh have you seen the “Tornado chaser” family?? That one is INSANE like the guy is for sure repressing something no one can be that enthusiastic every second of the day!

I think they might be the only recurring family as well as there’s more than one episode

That “space” is backstage at a recital, I believe. It reminds me of the backstage at my ballet recitals, it was some of the most fun I had at that age just hanging out back there.
