6:35 in regards to the scratching/screaming similarities, it's quite possible that Joe is scratching on a sample of her voice - this is a technique Linkin Park has used in the past
@HonedHobbyistАй бұрын
Linkin Park always uses original samples they create themselves giving the well known linkin park feel to all their songs. Hence why you won't ever have heard their samples prior to their tracks. I believe also, they only use the sample once then don't use them again but I'm not entirely sure on that account.

The way they've rolled these songs out man...Mike knew what he was doing and I'm here for it. EM perfectly introduced the new lineups strengths. It was cool to see this analyzed by what seems to be a vocal coach & get his professional take on it. But here's the thing about Emily - she didn't need a lot of that to get her to the place she goes on these LP tracks.. ..It's literally just how she sings. In several recent interviews, she's talked about how LP's "Hybrid Theory" shaped how she wanted to sing at a very early age, & said that a lot of her work in "Dead Sara" was modeled after Chester & LP. It's as if she was "training" for this almost her whole life. She was made for this sh##, man. 🤘😎
