This song for me was the fattest rollercoaster of emotions. At first I was gonna watch it cause I heard Jon was being funny on the live version. Then it started, it was a like a slope that kept on going. Midway through I fucking loved the song and I knew I was gonna replay this so hard. AND THEN THE OUTRO STARTED and I just died on the spot, sooo fucking good! I did not expect Jon to do it so perfectly along with everyone else in the band to just jam it out like the world was about to end. Truly a masterpiece in my book

Went to see them in 2019 and they came back after and encore and this was the last song they played, it was the one song I really really wanted to hear and it was amazing. One of the best live bands. Tillian and jon just sound so good.

Dude watching your reaction to MOY brought back memories of my first listen, one of your best reactions ever period! This song is so good on every level but the lyrics get me especially Tilians hip hop esque section. As someone that has struggled in relationships "i dont need a friend id rather keep it all to myself now" is so bittersweet, its me in a nutshell but also why i have been unsuccessful in love. Idk if ill ever be able to put my top 10 DGD songs in order but MOY would be near the top if not #1. And it is amazing live, ive seen DGD perform it live in person twice (plus tree city sessions 2) and i was damn near crying every time lol. Wow Mothership has been conquered, before Artificial Selection (2018) i recommend checking out the 2 singles from 2017- Summertime Gladness (a fan favorite youll love this one!) and their PGP cover Thats What I Like (great vibes in this one too and some really tasty guitar work). Cant wait for more awesome stuff from you, keep em coming!
