@@2wheelsonly614 I have never come across a sportbike losing 20HP from crank to wheel. Crank power is just as relevant as wheel power. After all, any power only comes from the crank. The ZX-10RR is designed to be a starting point for an all-out competitive track bike. As shipped from the factory, it must meet all US emissions standards, so of course it's gimped. You're wasting your money (which is your choice) if you're just tooling around on it on the street. Serious modification is needed if you want to realize the full potential of that thing. The engine needs a much better exhaust, real intake runners, and suitable cams. Much of the extra expense of this bike is due to the titanium rods, which is wasted if you're only spinning it to 14,000 RPMs. Hell, my 2018 ZX-10R made 198 RWHP. With the right mods, this RR would be much stronger than that.
