Mr. Ramsey, I’m a beginner/rookie magician and am totally in love with cards and card magic. In my pursuit of flawless sleight of hand I tumbled across one of your videos and have become addicted. Thank you so much, sir, for being extremely patient and thorough and not a dick, lol. Please don’t ever stop. Much love and respect.

Hey Chris, I'm a casino pit boss trying to find resources to supplement Erdnase's book. This is the cleanest, most natural DPS I have found on YT. I won't go into the details but this move can be used to trivially produce a blackjack even in the procedurally controlled environment of the table games pit and resources like yours help games operators to detect inside cheats early. Thank you so much for your videos my friend you're doing a service for industries outside of card magic.
@BiscuitsBox6 жыл бұрын
Congrats on the 1/2 million! Wow, I've been working on my DPS for ages and couldn't figure out how to make it look smooth. Hats off to you and Xavior Spade because that's so simple and awesome.

Good insights, mine is so much better after watching this. Thought I had it down but looking back...nope. For those of you with small hands...No joke I initially felt my hands were too big! When looking at the palming position I'd have my pinky curled up so the card would fit between the tip and my palm but that created huge windows. Had to work out a slightly different palming position, so don't get discouraged if your struggling. Everyones hands are different.

FOR PEOPLE WITH SMALL HANDS! my weird variation of DPS that i call "Vertical Palm Shift" does the DPS but injogs the bottom left corner, swivel with left thumb on bottom short edge till its in a gamblers cop, take deck and stand it up vertically on left palm (hence the name "vertical") control the card to top or bottom. hope it helps, a bit angle sensitive but should work well if youre experienced.

Hey man, yeah I came to this channel by going down a rabbit hole watching the slo-mo guys and seen a suggested video for your channel that had the viking puzzle. I love puzzles to begin with and enjoyed the video. At that time I had no idea that you were into magic and cardistry. Which cardistry blew my mind, I had no idea that playing cards were that intricate and so popular. So I actually picked up 2 decks of cards, first one is the DKNG Red Wheel and the 2nd is the Theory 11 MailChimp Red. Glad I found your channel and keep up the good work! Cheers from Michigan!

Not long ago while practicing the DPS and Daniel Madison's Squeeze Shift, I saw how easy it is to reverse the chosen card on the bottom. I played around with a few ideas of where I could go from there and finally came up with a trick I call Beyond Your Imagination. I do the move while talking about the power of imagination and determination. The patter is the misdirection. Every time while I'm doing the move, people are looking at me and listening to what I am saying. There is really nothing to see anyways. When I reverse the card it is placed on the bottom side jogged out the back a little, in Biddle Grip. I spread the deck and the chosen card gets hidden underneath the spread. I square up the deck and ask the spectator to cut the deck and then complete the cut. lol, yep, They just cut their card reversed in the middle of the deck! They put their finger on the deck and I talk about them imagining reversing their card and placing it back in a spread of face up cards. I turn the deck face up and what they were just imagining, they are seeing now. It gets crazy good reactions as they turn over their card! Just wanted to share that with you and the #RamFam, take care!
@nyawho.6 жыл бұрын
Dude, that is awesome! ITS BEYOND MY IMAGINATION! Anyways imma use this with my weird variation of DPS that i call "Vertical Palm Shift" does the DPS but injogs the bottom left corner, swivel with left thumb on bottom short edge till its in a gamblers cop, take deck and stand it up vertically on left palm (hence the name "vertical") control the card to top or bottom.
