These are all easy to figure out. Somewhere in an alternate universe there's a box and the coins disappear then go to that box, and the magicians simply recall the coins when needed for their trick.

That's actually how it's done. Except it's not a box in an, alternate universe. It's wherever they decide to hide the coin. Eric Jones used his left forearm. Emerald0504 used his right index and middle fingers. The "box" can be wherever works best for that person. They hide the coin there until they need to bring it back out. And Presto! Coin appears astoundingly out of 'nowhere'

my guess would be he has the chinese coin hiding behind the american one at first. Then when he shows the chinese one, its because he drops the american one in his middle, ring and pinky fingers. You can see them slightly cupped. Lastly when he waes his hand, he drop the american coin infront of the chinese coin (where he flashes a lttle). What allows this whole trikery, is that there is one full opaque coin, and one see through coin to fool ya even more. Is my guess tho, I could be totally wrong.

I paused the video to scroll comments to see if anyone "caught it" from the previous illusion. Then I saw this, and read the response from Florian Stieglmeier - I scrolled back up to see that I was on exactly 2:20 of the video. How do you wizards do these things!?!?!

@michaelniedzialek89546 жыл бұрын
You shouldn’t just focus on cards. Do all sorts of magic from coin to slight of hand. I suggest sponge magic. It is a lot of fun.
@ARUCARDFTEPES6 жыл бұрын
I agree, it's way too easy to get stuck on card magic there is so much of it. If you're performing though, you should think about the way the audience sees it, even if you do a dozen card routines with a very different methods/effects, a lot of people feel like one trick is the same as the next. Pick a card, find a card is what they experience. To magicians, it's easy to see the difference and appreciate different effects, but anytime you do a very different card illusion, torn and restored or card to wallet for instance, I don't think it should be followed by more conventional ones.
@sagitswag17856 жыл бұрын
ARUCARDFTEPES thats actually very true. The fact that "pick a card" tricks are so common lessens their effect somewhat.

@cringeyusername74596 жыл бұрын
bob bob it's not about figuring it out. Anyone can guess where the coin is, seeing as with sleight of hand coin magic, there's only so many places to hide a coin. It's either going to be clipped between two fingers in back palm, or hidden behind a thumb, or stuck to the back of the hand. Anyone can watch a magic video and dissect it by watching it a few times. The mind blowing part is how quickly and smoothly the moves are performed, and how it completely fools you first time round. If anything, once you figure it out, you should be more impressed by what they did.

I think I figured it out... i think that when he closes his hands, he presses quite hard on the frontier of the palm and the upper-arm so that the coin stays stuck, and then he shows his hands (without showing this part). If you look pretty close into this part, when he shows it you can see something shine...

The "coin through coin one" is actually really easily explained, but I'm pretty sure took ages to master. He's essentially letting the falling coin land on top of the coin between his fingers while simultaneously dropping the coin between his fingers to let the falling one take it's place.

I noticed that as well, and then tried it myself. After about 20 tries I got lucky and got it to work. I figured out that it has to be done with the coin at an angle and you have to change the angle every time so the coins stay in between your fingers. Also, you don't actually need to let go of the coin, you just have to let the coin drop and it almost seamlessly replaces the other coin. I could only do it about 5 times and after that it was really hard to do for some reason.
