great video. i just checked out a few others and yours helped me out. nice and slow and very well done. i have to say though that this windows 10 is insane. i hate it tons and didnt know til i got a new computer a year ago. i had one that had windows 7 on which i knew how to do anything i needed. on this one, i cant do anything. i get frustrated, mad, upset and have so many things i need to do including writing a book. have you any suggestions. i so hope you read this as every single day im so so upset and cant do anything on here. everything is so so complicated with multiple places etc just to do one thing. thanks kari.............................

I know what you mean I loved Windows 7 and also Windows XP, it does take some time but you will get used to Windows 10, it has its moments. To write a book you can use a word processor such as Word or the Free LibreOffice if its basic but if you want to write something that has a more professional look then you will probably need a Desktop Publishing program, which unfortunately I am not familiar with, but good luck with the book and thanks for your comment.

Please try your stick in another machine if it still does not work then it would sound like your USB stick has died.

@@cwtek1 Thanks for replying but it works if I use it on the TV! I have tried it on my sister's laptop and also my husband's! It is the same with another USB stick. It is probably the content I am trying to copy which is recorded footage on my Humax. I wanted to free up some space on that device.

So once I’ve transferred 150 pics from my USB to my “pictures” place on my computer....how do I pick out say...about 45 of those 150 and put those together in a file I can send to my agent on Dropbox?

Create a folder in dropbox for your pictures then go back to your pictures place on your computer hold down the CTRL key whilst left clicking each of the 45 pictures you want to copy to dropbox, once you have selected them let go of the CTRL key and then click the right mouse button and then left click copy then go into your folder in dropbox and then in a blank area click the right mouse button then left click paste and this will copy the pictures you have selected into Dropbox.

When i plugged in usb stick to windows 10 ruined it no drive showed and no technician can get anything back! Says disk needs reformatting I m not able to attempt it tried disk drill doesnt work useless..

It sounds like the usb drive has malfunctioned, unfortunately these USBs can be prone to malfunction just like anything else electrical.

Nothing happened when I plugged in the USB stick. When I pulled it back out, it fell apart. The silver part came away from the plastic. Have I lost all my photos?

Possibly, if you do not have them backed up elsewhere, you could take it to a electronics repair shop to see if they can help.
