Look into the history of the building, it was planned to be the largest in the world however due to WW2 the city was devastated and a much smaller church had to be built

I would suggest ADVERTISING around Liverpool, "CATHEDRAL OFFERING A PLACE OF SILENCE ONCE A WEEK. ALL ARE WELCOME" Rather than take Jesus on the doorstep of the Cathedral (which is Beautiful). Better to ADVERTISE, so non Catholics can come and sit in the Cathedral silently with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We live in a world of advertising, the Catholic Church needs to keep up, otherwise it's sadly being left behind. How else is an atheist for example going to find and meet Jesus face to face?? "It's in the Silence of the Heart that God Speaks" Mother Teresa.
