Is the ATC voice just as bad for you in the helmet headphones or is that just a recording artifact? I cannot understand how you could understand anything, felt you were just going along pretending to understand them. 😁 Also, really loving the POV shots edited with the fixed cockpit camera.

It’s an artifact. I can’t figure out why it records like that! Otherwise yeah it would be unflyable 😅

I was a aircraft fitter back in 88 at Elstree aerodrome, is this the same aircraft that was based there?

So you have to hold it in the spin with the controls? Would it still spin if you neutralized the control inputs in the spin?

With neutralised controls it should recover itself, although to recover quickly you need full opposite rudder.

@@CommandT I always wondered how can you recover from a spin on a predetermined heading, guess an aircraft has to have such flight characteristics as you described. As I understand the "normal" ones tend to have a delay in spin recovery. Thanks 👍

You can recover any aircraft on a heading if you can get out of the spin. It’s just a matter of knowing and anticipating how long it takes for the aircraft to respond to your inputs after you initiate the recovery.

Comparing to the Christen Eagle in DCS, not great. The DCS Eagle only feels similar, or the same in roll. In every other way it’s pretty terrible compared to the real thing.
