Good Morning Dave!!! Great find 0n those Scirocco II. I use StaBall 6.5 powder in many of my loads with results, 6.5 Creedmoor, 224Valkyire, 6 Creedmoor, 22 Nosler & 7mm-08. Looks like you have a new hunting bullet this year!!!

@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 Well sir, I don't have a 25-06. But, if I ever do, I will note that. I am getting out of the 270, however. Finding the 6.5 cm and 308 do what I need with lower recoil. I did, however, get a new 6.5 PRC as a replacement for a defective rifle. It is up for sale, but not getting many looks. If I can;t sell it, may keep it. You have any thoughts of getting one or do you have one?

@@usafret4709 As shown in this video with a 130 grain @ 2,900 fps, the Creedmoor is not far off of a 6.5 PRC shooting the 143 grain ELD-X @ 2,960 fps that is stated on their factory ammo box. But who knows maybe so to buy one someday. LOL

That's pretty good. I have Staball 6.5, Staball Match but I'm still trying to locate Staball HD. I once got an ES of 5 and SD of 2 in my Marlin levergun 45-70 using Exterminator and Belt Mountain Punch Solids. Numbers like that are always eyebrow-raising. You need to Scirocco II some rockchuck arrs! Thanks Dave!

Don't know where it come from but group for shooting is five shots, never three shots. thank you for the video.

5 shot groups are only a personal preference from the individual shooter to shooter only. I do 3 shot groups because I am after the data gathered from the chronograph only. Shot grouping is not a primary indicator of precision in the initial testing phase.

Dave, your shooting is great and your number of shots you take for data is the same way I do it. I'm a hunter and if I'm getting sub MOA 3 shot groups, that's the load I go with. I've taken a coyote at 300 yards with a 223 MSR using a 55 grain VMAX out of a 16" barrel.

My magazine is limited to 2.820. So I loaded to 2.785 and that worked out pretty well for my rifle.

Hey cowboy, why not just shoot brand new bullets I messed around with blemish or factory seconds? In my opinion the juice is not worth the squeeze. Too many variables somebody has a longer than others and some are lighter than others. You can never get a consistent overall length they just don’t shoot well at least for long range. I’m talking about 500+ yards.

Thanks for your suggestion. My shooting ability is a larger hindrance to accuracy than components. 1 MOA is all I need for hunting, as anything over 400 yards is too much of a "Maybe" for the larger critters I hunt.
