The last scene is kinda weird if you pay way too much attention. The cop cars are driving through a red light (with their lights on, so nothing too strange yet) which turns green as soon as the police van is in the middle of the intersection, but Batman claims to be "trying to catch the light" when he got hit by the SUV. It was a green light. I mean, aside from speeding, Batman did nothing too out of the ordinary; a more logical response might have been "trying to get in front of your van". If there was anybody who can claim the excuse of "trying to catch the light", it's the guy who used his SUV to smash into the Lambo. You might not have noticed, but your brain did.
