Dude, Christian Bale is my favorite actor. What a humble, down to Earth guy. He even gave a shout out to the fighting instructor's website. The Bale is quite a class act! He should have said"I can't BELIEVE they gave me the Oscar for best supporting Actor..." ;)

Grew up with him as batman. I remember being that 15 year old kid walking out the cinema after TDKR just thinking that we'll never see his batman again. Quite a bittersweet moment but for all his work in his projects over the years, he deserves way more than 1 academy award.

CB is an amazing actor - if you have never seen Empire of the Sun, I highly recommend. He was all of 13 years old, and turns out an incredible performance. I think it's ironic that Reese Witherspoon presented him with this award, because I think her performance for Man in the Moon - she is @14 in that movie - is equally matched. Just incredible.
