Christian Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum Fragrance / Cologne Review

My problem with this fragrance is that this is more of a flanker not a parfum version of the original.. i wish it was a parfum version of the original. I feel like this is a nice scent but its like a fahrenheit without its balls.. Its a little too soft and too much vanilla for me. I actually prefer the absolute version of this because at least that had some smokey dark elements to give it a rough edge.. This one sort of feels like the cross dresser of the fahrenheit family...

By far the best Fahrenheit Dior has made. Much better than the original imo . The rum and vanilla is smooth and it has great longevity

I love this. It takes that edgy, sharpness away from the original and smooths it out. I wished it performed like Dior Homme Parfum, but it's a winner. I will order a backup bottle of it.

I used to have the original Fahrenheit and I love it. When I saw a bottle of this new Parfum version at a Duty Free shop in NYC I decided to buy, following some online reviews and got very disappointed. It has a strong added sweetness that makes it much heavier/dense and (to my opinion) very annoying, almost to the point of giving me a headache. To my opinion this flanker is less masculine/fresh and has a heavy/old vibe to it.

I'm 19 but I was able to buy this with my own allowance. I don't know how I feel about this fragrance, at the first 15 min, it is quite strong and I feel like it's not for me but as it fades away, it does smell good on my suit and I wear wear formal suit almost everyday so it is more appropriate, thank u for the review. Another reviewer had clued me in on this flanker a little while ago, and I have no regrets in doing a blind buy on it. I'm not a fan of the original(years ago, a co-worker who "bathed" in it turned me off), but although this has a distinct character of its own, it still recalls the original Fahrenheit DNA. Not suitable for office use(except maybe for one discreet spritz to the chest) but best for a dressed-up night out on the town.

Woah! Smells like a photorealistic campfire/ fireplace. Possibly the best yet- better than by the fireplace, stronger with you line & raghba wood intense. Probably that gasoline violet adds to the fire effect.

Man I was born in 85 and in my highschool in Elizabeth farenheit sillage was abundant in the hallways😂 the note that was intriguing to me that I didn't recognize then that I later found was the violet leaf. That note made the difference for me I never smelled anything like it

The original was AMAZING!!!! An extract fermentation from roses 🥀 the new version is like an imitation of the original with yes similar notes but in fake copy from original fashion. I wish I could have buy 300 bottles of the original! Simple perfumes were better during the late 80’s and 90’s

It's Parfum. Dior would have identified it as "Eau de Parfum." See, for example, the Dior Homme Line. Dior Homme Intense is an Eau de Parfum. The bottle specifically states "Eau de Parfum." Conversely, Dior Homme Parfum is Parfum concentration. Chanel does the same. See Bleu de Chanel, which sports an Eau de Parfum concentration and a Parfum concentration.

A year later, did you find it? I too am a fan of the original, but I ran out around 2000. In 2016 I came across two bottles at a garage sale that I snatched up for a few bucks. I thought about eBaying them for some $$ but I kept them. Later I bought a bottle of the EDP but was disappointed because it wasn't like the original. Lately though, I've learned to love the EDP like I learned to love DHP. I wear Fahrenheit EDP more than I do the original now.

Hi. I've smell it today. Very very nice. How do you compare it with Bvlgari Man Black Orient? They seeems to have a something in common at the base note, althought Bvlgari is more spicy and punchy in the opening, and more smokey in the middle. But Dior seems to last longer, and is sweeter and less spicier than Bvlgari.

I agree it's very complex. In fact i feel it's similar to a more complex niche cologne such as maybe a roja. However, to me, the violet is very synthetic smelling and i find it off putting. Like it has no soul but rather almost plastic like. I do love the boozy dry down though. A pass for me.

2018 batch is actually pretty amazing. They amped up the longevity and sillage from the infamously weaker 2014-17 batches. It also maintains that gasoline note that it's known for. Others have said that the 2018 batch is very similar to the vintage, just more linear. With my 2018 batch, 3 sprays and my coworkers tell me that they can smell me as I enter the room, whilst complementing the scent.

hey steve , i dont know much in perfumes but i had a weird encounter. my cousin bought a creed aventus 120ml bottle , the bottle looked fake to me but the smell was very good. what made me doubt the bottle is the fact that the cap did not have the crown engraving on it. do you think this is a fake or not ? i did not check badge number or something else.

This Fahrenheit Longevity is 2+ days, its so strong and lasts so much on my skin and clothes that if I sprayed so much I would get a headache, amazing performance, the projection is great too. If you knew where to spray it and how many sprays so it doesn't get annoying it'll be a great addition to ur collection.

Hey Steve got the cologne from natino the ysl and 1 million so far they both smell good the 1 million packs a punch lol I know the 1 million is the real deal just have to wear the ysl I bought the 6.7 hope the reformulated ysl does not hurt the projection or the longevity but we will see.
