rage is not cute 😅 but it's definitely real and I have felt embarrassed that I struggle with it. But I know we are all imperfect working on different things. There is a reason why my emotions bottle up in that way and it important to acknowledge it, so that God can heal my heart and I can get rid of that sin.

@Kian_Wolfgang Absolutely feel you on that one. I feel so much shame for struggling with anger/rage. That's why I appreciate you being open about it!! The enemy wants us to think we're the only ones who are angry... And that we should hide it... Like you said, bottling it all up. To God be the glory for everything even our rage so that he can be seen in our healing! ♥️ Also, my two-year-old now repeats me in prayer, "help me to have self-control."

@@Kian_Wolfgang I think it's very important to give yourself time and tons and tons of grace/mercy when working through that kind of stuff. People tend to bottle their emotions for a number of reasons (i.e. for me, personally, I do it because there's been plenty of times in my life where I've opened up about things and gotten completely dismissed and emotionally invalidated) so it's important to find some sort of community that you feel safe being open and vulnerable to and if you struggle with finding that you could pray for it. It often feels like I'm the only struggling with this, it's obviously not something to uplift and glorify by any means, but it's nice to know that I'm not the only one. It's definitely something to keep on going to God about. Thank God, he can help us with anything we ask him to!!! If you ever feel guilty, ashamed, and condemned because of it, just remember that that's usually the enemy trying to get into your mind.

I heard a tip online for tidiness called the “one-touch” rule - aka, don’t put something down until you know you won’t have to pick it back up for a long while. For example, if you’re doing laundry - it’s very tempting for me to bring my clean clothes up to my room and just let them sit in a basket instead of folding them and putting them away immediately. But if I do it right away I’m just touching each piece of clothing “once” before it’s in its proper place. Or even something as simple as just dropping your keys wherever on the kitchen counter - if I have a set place fit them, I just have to pick them up “once” and put them away so I’ll know where they are next time I leave the house

Loved this chat, thank you for sharing so openly about the car fight. I definitely struggle with rage from time to time too and never put that word to it, probably because it feels icky but its so accurate. I just appreciated you being so raw in sharing the uncomfortable details that I'm sure a lot of us can relate to. As for Legends name, not my favorite but i understood your choosing of it with the meaning behind it and it definitely suits him!! We have chosen the name Maksymilian for our son due in January and i have definitely gotten mixed reactions haha but i also just feel so confident in it and the meaning that it doesn't phase me! I grew up in Germany and Maximilian (with that spelling) is a pretty common name there! I love it! Never seen your spelling though. People usually call them Max for short too!

When I first heard Legend’s name it had a shock factor but I loved it. It was right in that pocket of being unique without being silly or obnoxious like, Risk or Leaf 😂

love the name Legend! I do think it’s a name that won’t work for every boy, but it works beautifully for both a baby and an adult. It’s very powerful and bold. I imagine that one day, when he’s at the bank or signing for a house, he’ll get a lot of compliments. It’s also incredibly fitting for the parents he comes from. You and Kyle are so bold with your dreams and the positive impact you make on your community, so it makes perfect sense to name him Legend. It feels almost like a generational name-not because anyone else in your family is named Legend, but because it sets a model for how you want yourselves and future generations to interact with others. Not necessarily to be a legend, but the name embodies the idea of leaving behind a memorable story. To me, Legend symbolizes creating a lasting impact through kindness and going out of your way for others across generations. I hope that makes sense lol!

Normally, I wouldn’t like the name Legend because it was so common at one point. But Legend Wolfgang is something special! Ahhh our 2 year old guy is Callan, Cal for short. We ended up loving Colton James for our second due in Jan. I am obsessed with the name Legend. Had never thought/heard of it but as soon as y’all announced it I loved it! Definitely a strong name but I think it’s perfect!

Tip for minimalist! My hubbie and I have recently been learning about fabrics and materials. We recently learned about how much stuff is made out of plastic. It’s wild! This personally impacted us greatly and has convicted us to purge materials that are not made out of natural fibers for both our baby & us. This naturally has led us to get rid of SO MUCH it’s 😅😅😅😅 crazy. But I feel SO good knowing that we are surrounding ourselves with things that GOD made through nature! Definitely a long journey cuz we can’t afford to just instantly replace everything but has certainly made us appreciate that which is up to our new standard. Unintentional minimalist 😅😊

I LOVE creative, unusual names, so I love that you named him Legend, but the name Legend itself I'm not sure if I like. Maybe because the word itself doesn't have a people connotation/pleasing to the ear, but I applaud the boldness. But when I see Legend, I feel it fits him. Hope that makes sense haha. I personally don't like the name Legend because I'm a bit more partial to traditional older names instead of the more out of the box names people are using nowadays but I respect everyone's decision in naming their child. 😊

Legend's name is kinda a show stopper. The whole thing from first name to last. But I think it's so amazing that you let yourself name him the name you heard from the Lord. I feel like God's ideas are the best and I'm sure He has some cool things in mind for Legend and his name has a lot to do with his destiny.

@@amandadetaylor well funny but here in Australia we call every person we like a legend so common and not prideful when said here more like if someone rings their mate up on the phone you might say “hey legend “ or talking about someone you like you would say he or she is a legend, or even of someone helps you out at the shop or does something to help in in anyway you would say thanks your a legend! Or just say legend, we are a strange bunch down under ! 😆so I guess it’s depends on how it’s use in your society 🤔😄

I won't lie, out of all the celeb/influencer names I've heard, Legend had me like 😳 the only other one since then has been Cuba... (Jess and Gabriel). I'm from the UK so maybe part of it is that over in the UK, calling someone a 'legend' in a sarcastic/colloquial way is quite common (e.g. "you got a date with her? what a legend" / "you passed the test? legend"). From hearing your other preferred names I think we just have very different style in names anyway! I do like Malachi however....

Legend sounds like a name a celebrity would name their child. I always thought celebrity baby names were random, weird or over the top. There are lots of unique baby names out there that don’t have that celebrity type vybe to it.

I think Legend really does suit him :) It is very cute, but at first I definitely did not like it. i know another couple that named their baby Legend and I think they had a different meaning behind his name, like that he would be a legend/ so great, etc. But I think the intended meaning behind the name is what makes the difference. It doesn’t have to be a prideful name, it can be an ode to like “legends of old” or someone of the past. I especially think about the “legends” of the Bible and the name makes me think now of a respect and a tie to history and the believers who came before us. I definitely could not see him as a Malachi 🤣
