Im a 19 year old girl. I wish I was raised by Godly parents with morals, rather than grow up in a disfunctional neglectful fatherless lonely environment. I feel like I would have been a much better woman that I am now. I have done many shameful things. I am trying so hard to be a woman of God but it's hard with my ugly past. I have only been a Christian for 7 months though so I have hope that the Lord will do great things in me and through me with time. Amen sister

Isn't it ironic that it was Christians that killed Tyndale. And as far as the story about the 5 year old.... where did you hear this? And even if true i hope its realized that horrible acts like this are done by multiple faiths. Including Christians against non-Christians. It's horrible that *anyone* is killed for their belief, but its not a one way street.
@__Andrew7 жыл бұрын
The issue im having is i cant find this story replicated anywhere else. You claim you heard a pro-Christian, anti-Muslim story on a Christian radio station that i can not find verification of elsewhere... While it may be true, its easy to see how there might be something going on here. *Many Christians are killed every day for not denying Christ* I don't doubt it. But a blind eye should also not be turned towards other religions that do the same. And this includes Christians. *Real bonified Christians don't kill other religions* There is no such thing as a "true" Christian. And your bible alone is full of god's chosen killing other people for that exact reason... they do not follow the Abrahamic one. Plus history is full of Christians killing in the name of their god. You dont just get to say "well they are not TRUE Christians" just because of this. This is called the "No True Scotsmen Fallacy". You should google it. *JESUS teaches us to love others and helping the poor needy, widow and hungry* He also taught that slaves should obey their masters. So by your logic a slave owned would be a true Christian. *Islam however tells muslims to kill people in the name or Muhammed* And this is where your hypocrisy comes in. Now im not sure if its from a place of ignorance or not. But its there. You realize a Muslim would easily say "no true Muslim would kill another human" but you would not accept it now would you? Nor really should you, since there are plenty of Muslims that *do* interpret their holy book that way. But its just like there are Christians that interpret the bible to say they should kill people, or that god hates fags, or that all babies go to heaven so if you love your child you should murder it. Now of course most Christians do not read their bible to say these things, just like most Muslims do not read the Koran to say to kill people either. If either holy book was really actually clear and consistent you would not have so many different opinions all on the same source material. But you should not make blanket statements about another religion and paint the many with the same brush stroke as the few, when if it were done to you and your own religion you would be upset and say "well they are not true followers of my religion". *Its ok, to beat your wife in Islam* You could do the same in Christianity until relatively modern times. The real issue with Islam is they are about 300 years behind Christianity in its adoption of secular reasoning and thinking and in its approach in interpreting their holy scriptures. Its no different then how today many Christians use the bible to denounce homosexuals. 70 years ago they used it to lock people up for interracial marriages. 150 years ago they used it to justify slavery. And so on. As culture changes our society views scriptures in the light of its current societal state. Lines in the bible that a few hundreds years ago could rally millions of people to fight another religion in strange lands, now have a different context today. If you polled Christians on how much of the bible was literal vs figurative i guarantee you people today would take a more figurative approach than people 500-100 years ago would have. Which is good... because if we still followed all the laws in the bible slavery would be allowed, forcible marriages by way of rape would be allowed, and woman would be killed for not being able to prove they were a virgin on their wedding night. *Mohammed was a pedophile who had sex with Aisha when she was 9 married her at 6 years old* And Mary was probably 12 when she was impregnated. But... as i said society pushes its views on its holy texts. Im sure every picture you saw of Mary has her much older right? Iv seen early works that make her appear to be a young woman, maybe late teens early 20's. And iv seen more recent works that make her appear to be a woman in her mid 30s. The bible also has prophets of god sleeping with family members and having multiple wives, is this allowed by god? Or is their an excuse you would use that, if a Muslim used it for their own prophet, you would deny? *Christians are the most persecuted in the world please do your research* WOW... i would love to know how you came to this conclusion. Especially since Christians hold places of power in most of the world's more powerful governments.
@victoriabrooke79707 жыл бұрын
Andrew your speaking by your opinion. I have read the Quara n many times. What yourvaatong is not true about the bible. I have talked to many Muslims about the Quaran I was even going to marry a Muslim. "And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers." Quaran 2:191-93. "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand."4:34 Muslims aren't killing people to defend themselves in the military but are instructed by Allah to kill non believers. The bible doesn't tell people to kill people who are non believers. A slave owner is not a true Christian. In the old times people would own slaves because they people wouldn't be able to pay back the debt. No slave owner should hit , beat or mistreat people. That was the laws back then. The whites who killed the blacks were not Christians. Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is. There is no scientific evidence that proves Mary was 12. No one knows how old she was. Aisha was a child when Mohammed married her he pedophilia. When marry had her first child she was still a virgin. The child she conceived was not because she had sex the baby was put on her womb with out any sex. Aisha was actually raped no one raped Marry. Their are many Christian Christian Martyrs that die for the faith. It's not a lie they're are many magazines of actual survivors and people family who tell their story about how their family member was a martyr for Christ. Even fox news a media network that is not Christian reported 9,0000 martyrs. The Vatican called 100,000 a credible number or martyrs. Many Christians die for the faith. No other religion has been persecuted as much as Christians. Incest has never been allowed by God. Your speaking without knowing what the Bible really says. Don't assume things without knowing. Also no prophet slept with their family. Stop lying aboutt the Christian bible with our having any evidence your just lying and lying. If you don't like Christians then stop watching Christian videos.God never allows for men to have multiple wife's but Mohammed does in Islam. Have you even read the Quaran and The Bible? You clearly haven't. I have studied the Quaran and Bible

Well for some reason all your responses, plus Hambots are gone. I can only see mine own. So i can only really see the first few lines you wrote that appear in the notification box. It was something along the lines that you "have read the Koran many times". Im assuming this was an argument that you had some worldly knowledge of the Koran that i did not have. To which i say... i dont care. I dont care if you read the Koren, the bible, the Book of Mormon or what else. I have read the bible many times over now as well but if i had used that in the same context that it appears you are tying to use your "i have read the Koran" argument you would not accept anything i had to say. So... why the hell bring it up? Remember what i said about hypocrisy? Im betting you were even going to do what i hinted at earlier, you would quote a passage in the Koran that supports your view that *ALL* Muslims view their holy book as telling them to kill. HOWEVER again... if i did the same with the bible and maybe quoted the passage about a father being able to force his daughter to marry her rapist you would weasel your way out of it. Maybe by saying again "no true christian would do that" or you would point to another part of the bible that contradicts the rape marriage part. But... had a Muslim did the same to any part of the Koran that called for killing, you would almost certainly shoot it down and not accept that argument. Am i right? If it were not for the comments seeming to be broken i would love to see you justify some of the more evil parts of the bible *WITHOUT* using an argument that a Muslim could also use to justify the evil parts of the Koran.

Sirine I don’t want to start an argument; I want to tell you about Someone who loves you. Jesus died and paid the price for our sins, before joining His Father in Heaven. The quran says that Jesus didn’t die on a cross, but both Christians and atheists agree that Jesus did. The quran says that Jesus is the word and that the world was created through the word - the world was created through Jesus, God. Please accept Jesus as God’s Son, welcome Him into your heart and be saved!

I started with the NIV I was given in school and it was easy to read. Now I like the NRSV as I noticed the translation notes and alternatives at the foot of each page. I had started to translate and noticed alternatives especially in 1 Cor 11 and that the notes in it matched my translating and was amazed. I am wary of study guides as I married into a cult that used study guides to mold us that really twisted the scriptures to their own teachings. Women were very subdued. Now I am free of all that and very independent in my Bible reading and interpretation. I thank Lord Jesus for rescuing me and filling my life with the Holy Spirit as per John 14:15-31. I now am a child of my Father, Abba, in heaven: Galatians 4:6: '"And because you are children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”" Romans 8:15: "For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”

I love hearing Kristene's song plugged in the beginning! Such a great song. Also, there was some anointing on that exhortation to read the Bible and have a regular quiet time with God! I am just telling you that in case you weren't aware of it - Holy Spirit was definitely riding on those words! Keep up the great work, Becca.

Subscribed ❤️ I’ve been extremely depressed and this has pushed me to seek God through His Word again. It’s been really hard for me. Please, pray for me and thank you for this message and being obedient to Papa.

It was good watching this to see , in particularly a female , who says they are Christian and actually is. Been with The Lord my whole life, make all the imperfect mistakes but grow stronger from it.

God led me to see this, cause a couple weeks ago, God told me that He is hovering over the US right now, (but only for a short time, like 5 years), and to write down all the things I want for Him to answer my prayers. This is crazy, cause I never thought anything like this before. Like the word "hovering" ... I dont think I've ever heard that word, but God showed me in my mind like a huge spiritual man hovering over the US, and every since he told me this I've told a few people that God is hovering over us ... and I remember grabbing my notebook and pen to start writing, and I immediately wrote it large on top if page "Remember to write down my prayers for God", and I was talking up a storm to God like I always do, and thinking how smart it was to write it down. I had not thought of it before, but I pray all the time outloud. But than k you for reminding me. I'm going to start a journal. Thank you so much. Heres a couple things I do.... I have a head board on my bed with a couple shelves, and I sleep with my bible above my head. Now I always open it. Also I like to listen to audio bible while I work outside, bath, do work with hands, when doing most things, unless I'm talking with someone or doing work requiring my attention, like writing or talking or watching tv... but I love sleeping playing it too
