You have to love Christian. He got his life together without completely ignoring his past. That's a real man.

So good to hear Christian sound level headed. So many times ex-meth heads are permanently psychologically damaged. Former addicts also go extremely religious and that's all you hear them talk about. Good story.
@chadlovell5982 Жыл бұрын
Correct. Meth is a hell of a drug. From what I've seen.it is really destructive.. If spirituality saved him,that's great. I kinda figure what ever works, then great..glad to see things are going well for him..hope they still are.

Great interview, the "wrap it up" music at the end while he was talking sort of killed the mood though.

Dude Christian i dont know if you read any of these comments but i dont see how you wouldn't but i just want to tell you i walked a similar path minus the fame and legendary status and writing this from work release which is a program after a long bid in prison and your story and testimony carries more than you will ever know so just want to say thank you man for moving on and still not hiding from your past !! I'm trying to do the same and god its hard to bury shame and depression but its a work in progress !! Amen brother and r.i.p grasso !!

It'd be really cool to meet Christian Hosoi's son It's interesting how his story makes it such that his mother waited until he was 18 to introduce him - Hosoi's life has been so wild it probably was the right timing to introduce him then

I don’t know if I’ve been a good dad to 5 kids now 24-15 years old. Ups and downs and now they are confronting me that I talk down to them. I thought I did my best and followed my faith gut and my own fathers teachings. I feel like my wife has created these sides and her shit don’t stink psychology. But I could be wrong. Idk. I told them I’d go to therapy before they end up kicking me out or leaving. My parents brought my get me up different than their moms parents and I think there’s some bias. I want to stick to my ways so bad but feeling like therapy is my only compromise. I mean who’s the parent here me or them? Hope some dads can send some quick advice cause I’m hurting right now. Love you Hosoi!

I am sorry for your struggle. That sounds rough and I pray I don't end up facing one like it, but I probably will. You are not alone. The times and the world is changing and I dont think it's for the better. A Father's Sovereign role is absolutely under attack, a cant win story often enough. Step right, you're wrong and guilty, step left, it's all your fault for not stepping right! I notice not many people got back to you on here, that's part of the silence and isolation program. Certain things are not talked about, although the repercussions are screaming in our faces everyday. God bless you, keep your head up.

Hey man therapy might be good. It can help you understand things that happened to you and hurt you that you might not be aware of. It sounds like you love your kids and are willing to try something to see if it helps with the relationship and that's great. Just let them know you love them and your working on improving your life and this will be a big step. We're a ll human and make mistakes but no matter how wrong things go you can always turn around.

I’d still rather be Christian than Tony. Nothing against Tony but as an American of Japanese decent, who’s the same age as Christian. Im still here, and I was a BMX freestyler! If I would have skated instead, I’d still be doing it. BUT Calabazas was worth it!

4:45 what a surprise, Christen Hosoi taking credit for saving his son's life by making the "right" choices at the "right" time. Fuck I hate when ppl think having a huge ego is a positive thing.

"My son was saved from knowing me when I was meth addict and out of control" surely screams ego.
@howdy37516 жыл бұрын
35Y/OSK8ERLOVINGLIFE SK8ERVERYTHING Yeah its real egotistical to tell your adult son, who you just met, that you were a drug trafficking, drug addicted, misanthropic failure who had everything and pissed it away for nothing. Bravo on your logic, douche nugget
@T97Frida6 жыл бұрын
He admitted all his errors and failures, speaks about what he did wrong and acknowledged it was better he wasn't around his son while his own life was out of control cause he could not be a role model for him. That's what you call a huge ego? He eventually woke up and DID the only right thing, give him some credit.
