Ugh, I get so annoyed with these comments making Olli into the female (bride) role and Christian into the male (groom) role. Olli is not a bride. He is a man just as much as Christian. And as a show of manliness, look how he carried Christian around that apartment. Did you see how Olli even lifted him up in the air a bit at :24? And Christian is definitely taller and heavier than Olli. I didn't really like the way the story portrayed Ollie running off the night before the wedding to hang out with the women while Christian stayed at the apartment male bonding with Andy and Constantin. Can't believe that in 2015 (well, guess I should say 2010 when this episode aired.....haha), we're still trying to peg gay relationships into a male/female role. And for people to go even further into their bedroom by saying that Christian is the top and Olli is the bottom....come on!!! Honestly.....I can see them both as....umm...."flip floppers". LOL!!!! The way I see it, Christian was willing to explore a different sexual orientation for Olli and he REALLY loves Olli. Why wouldn't he be open to exploring different types of gay sex? Let's not be so narrow-minded. I agree with everyone else.....Constantin was too cute with the "Muffins!!" LOL!!!

Recently started watching Chrolli and could not help leaving a comment for this clip - every single moment is simply filled with joyful sweetness, with obvious true love naturally flowing between the two. @maitefer2006. Which storyline have you been watching all this time? If it wasn't for Olli's drive and determination there wouldn't even "be" a Chrolli to celebrate. Just about every event in Chrolli's life can be attributed to Olli taking charge and making it happen. That is why I was hoping, for once, Christian would have taken the initiative and proposed to Olli.

What seems different to me lately is that there have been several instances - after their reconciliation for instance, or after the proposal where I think a romantic bedroom scene would have made sense. I still think the show does a wonderful job showing the breadth of their relationship but I missed those moments.

Olli being taken by the girls b4 the wedding doesn't mean he's the bride or Chris being carried by Olli makes him the bride. Its just plain circumstantial. They just enjoy what normal couples do. And besides, look at the whole storyline, Olli was more affectionate w/ the girls than Chris. But this doesn't mean he's the 'girl', its just his traits the same goes to Chris, who was a boxer at first.

Really, somebody complained because Olli looks like the bride?!? People, Chrolli are just perfect they way they are, and these last episodes demonstrated how far the writers and the actors went to erase any stereotype about the boys. Beside, being manly, or campy, are equally poses, and -especially for gays- ways to play and switch the rules. It's part of the fun!

Interesting discussion! I myself have been intrigued to note that straight women seem to be equally attracted to both Olli and Christian. That is, for those women who are turned on by men, both of these men possess an equivalent range of male charms. Just as they both (like many men) also possess qualities which people tended to see as "feminine". Plus those distinctive individual features which have never known gender. Like Christian's love of ... food. Something I can identify with myself.

@yoonzena I also commented on Olli being refered to by Rebecca as a bride earlier - I was not offended of course ;) . But all these years writters were strict in depicting this couple stereotype-free, promoting equal roles in man-to-man relationship. You can see this in the way they dance at the wedding, and so many other situations as well as in this clip. And thats whats different form most shows. I find it refreshing and loving it!. :)

I keep looking at the comments and I am really confused. Why are people taking this bride/groom, mas/fem thing so seriously? Maybe it's because I'm a man. I don't see the big deal. Noone is seriously saying that Olli is a woman. Why would he want to be? He is, however, more refined than Christian and I can see why the more feminine traits would be attributed to him. I think you all need to step back and see this for what it is- a loving couple sharing their love with their friends.

@maitefer2006 maybe As a female, I'm just not sure why being "more feminine" in your mind equates to NOT being a peer. I think there are lots of people that would take offense to this statement. Being a kind, caring/nurturing person doesn't automatically allow someone to dominate you or your personality. Chrolli has always been a couple with give and take as most successful couples have. To me, they are both experiencing wedding traditions that matter to them.

@maitefer2006. You are right. The fact that Tom Chroust is gay gave him an advantage fleshing out gay characters. It seems though, that Ms. Feiler hasn't had much experience being around gay people or couples so she's left to write them from her limited knowledge of what it means to be gay. Unless she has someone to advise her or takes the time to learn more about the "gay experience" we'll continue to have this "one has to be male/the other female" type of writing where Chrolli is concerned.

@DMR2006 Yeah, at the time she was caught up on Fish Lips Fabian. Go figure. I remember that moment, and then the star he had named for her! Very romantic. I liked their relationship. He was her friend, and she just couldn't see what was right in front of her face for such a long time. I wish the show went into more detail about the breakup. Judith was there at the beginning of Chrolli and helped them get together. I wish she could have been at the wedding.

@marilun08 Olli is the "girlier" of the two. That's not a bad thing, it just is. Rebecca and Olli were the best of friends before she started following Christian around like a little puppy. And before Rob got involved with Nolimits. Andi is recently back on the scene, so what, he chose Becca. Showers are always contrived. People pretend they like each other when they don't. Besides, who else could they have used? As for me, sitting in a castle, sipping champagne is just my style.....
