Love this interview!!! Really wish the culture was more behind my snoop collaboration! I never compromised on core values and made a banger with a hip hop ICON …..tried to be a 💡 real quick 🤦🏽♂️🫠

Dope 🕶 Interview. Catching this at the start of 20-24. Found Parris's music in late 2019 early 20-20 right before the pandemic but it feels like I've been listening to him longer than that. Its been solid to see his evolution as an Artist 🎤 and as a Man. Definitely one of my Favorite Artists in the CHH realm and his music also translates well to secular ears. Titan🫡

I think people forget that our God is the creator of music. We Christians don't take from secular music it's secular music that take from us. We Christians think evolving is wrong but we serve an evolving God. We give the devil too much glory for something he never created but contaminated. Christian rappers take back the crown

Word. Also, I find that some of the best secular artists grew up in the church. Look at the difference between R&B singers of yesterday vs today as an example

Christian artists have to understand that their music serves a purpose. At the end of the day what makes their music music is the listener’s connection to it. Then the listener dives deeper and sees the meaning behind the words. If you are an artist that has a large fan base with high school and college aged kids you need to be patient with the acceptance of your message. Even if a few kids or even one gets saved I would imagine it’s worth it.

Agree also what makes their music is the creator through them creating so it can only be a blessing. We must remember that we are all different and God created for all his creations and the creativity in which he creates is for us to enjoy and see how great God is... big up to the one true GOD!!!!

Man I really love Parris and his music. I’ve been listening to him for years and he is super underrated. To me he’s one of the best rappers out right now (in Christian and Secular). Would love to hear him make a podcast or something to hear more of his story and perspective 🔥🔥🔥

As one of those older dudes, I’m very intentional with younger artists to cultivate relationships of value. I focus on Houston the most, I feel that the other older artists should do the same in their city. It actually works. Good thing for y’all to point out. 💯

Our language(words) should reflect the Lord. I'm guilty of using foul language. But as of lately, it now seems to put a hurt in my ear when I hear it or use it myself. As for "secular" music, it's not all bad. But I definitely have changed my music taste. A lot of music I used to listen to I can't listen to it anymore because it doesn't reflect me or who I want to be in the Lord.

Not gonna lie this interview helped me be appreciative of where God placed me at. I don’t agree with my pastor with everything but I know God wants me under him. Parris words brought an answered prayer to me.

I have a question Ruslan, if you see this. Why exactly did The lead attorney change your mind on prenuptial agreements and how from a Christian worldview? I'm not criticizing, its just as a Christian husband I can't see how that fits into our worldview. I also don't understand why you let Him get you when He said to drop the Gospel on it n you conceded. If you see this, id appreciate elaboration, that conversation left me a bit sour bro

It’s funny to me that so people think the way pastor Todd uses a different strategy to win souls is questionable. Why does the body the Christ think people have to do things exactly the same. Pastor Todd must be doing something right because his name is always in somebody’s mouth to get views and a bigger check from KZbin. Much respect.
