Huge respect for the announcement at the end! I think that's a great idea. As I said before I highly highly highly recommend to you that you read JESUS: Man, Messenger, Messiah; so hopefully we get to a video on that. 😁 As for the son comment, even if we accept that, they were figurative language since you yourself pointed out it applies to not just Jesus (AS). Problem is Christians say Jesus (AS) is the literal son of God and make him equatable to God which is big no-no when the literal first and most important commandment is you shall have no God besides me. (La ilaha illa Allah).

Hey! Thanks for the kind words and for sharing your thoughts. Yeah the "Son of God" meaning equality of God comes from the biographies on the life of Jesus. Jesus claiming to be the Son of God actually did communicate that he was equal to God (this is how his audience understand his message but also he makes more explicit claims that he is God in the flesh)

@@00AnimeLover0 What research did he not do exactly? As he said the title son or children of God has been used in the past for spiritual people, yes. However, it’s very obvious that Christians took it too far with Jesus (PBUH) and literally turned him into the son of God which was wrong of them to do. What’s more likely, that this happened, or that Jesus truly was teaching that he was the son of God, a concept that was not taught by any of the previous prophets who according to you he would have sent on Earth as God and so they would have known about it. It makes no logical sense and is very inconsistent that Jesus would claim he’s God or the son of God when prophets (who he apparently sent) didn’t teach the trinity ever. The logical answer is that Christians got confused trying to make Jesus a holy figure as the son of God who got sacrificed by God his father, but also wanted him to be God and divine, but not two gods just one God, so in trying to combine and reconcile all these ideas they invented the trinity literally 350 years after Jesus’ time making Jesus as God, the son of God, and still not two gods just one… confused? Brother Dax, I would like to answer your question and I am going to try to break it down to few bullet points: 1- First I would like to discussed what you called 'a contradiction' in the Quran, we take prophets revelations from the Quran and not other books for obvious reasons which some you have already mentioned, just like in Christianity you do not take god revelations to Moses from the Jewish Torah 'Tanakh' but only from what is included in the Bible as 'Old Testament', so as Muslims the claim that prophets called themselves sons of god is null and void. A contradiction occurs when the same book states two opposite statements, which is not the case here for the Quran, and if you believe there is a contradiction in the Quran please state the two opposing verses for clarity. 2- When you reference the Torah, I believe that you referencing the Jewish beliefs as well and I just want to emphasis that Judaism is also a monotheist religion like Islam so they do not believe God has a son. 3- In what you have described as other prophets calling themselves sons of god in the Bible, the word 'sons of god' is used figuratively and not in a literal meaning of the word which as a Muslim in my humble opinion there is no issue here, the core issue is in John 3:16 where the claim is Jesus is the literal son of God, as mentioned in NIV Bible 'one and only Son' so if Jesus is the one and only son the other prophets are not, as well in KJV where the word 'begotten' is used which means a literal biological son. So your argument that other prophets articulated this statement does not stand here and matter fact if you look at it from the other angle it does create a contradiction in the Bible as other prophets claimed to be sons of god yet in John is stated that Jesus is the one and only son. 4- In John 10:33-36 when Jesus was confronted by a group of Jews accusing him of blasphemy as he claimed to be god, did Jesus affirms that he is god/son of god (divine)? he did not, he basically used the same argument you described as these words 'sons of god' was mentioned in the Jewish law in figurative way and him calling himself son of god does not mean he is a literal son of god. Thanks for reading my answer and I hope you follow up on this answer in your next and final video of the series.

And to answer: In Jewish Orthodox tradition, the term "Son of God" is not typically used as a direct reference to a divine figure or deity. Within Judaism, the concept of God having a literal physical offspring is not part of the theological understanding. The term "Son of God" is often used metaphorically or in a symbolic sense to denote a close relationship between God and individuals or the Jewish people as a whole. Even tho I don't need the bible to tell me we're supposed to be sons of God. I don't need to accept it just because it's from a time before Quran. Maybe it was really the exact wording and that's the language of that time and maybe it meant "creation". the way God told us to believe in the other holy books is not to follow their writings as authority. even if u can find a preserved scripture from the 1st century be it old or new testament. all those past Prophets (Peace be upon them ) clearly stated they were sent to their related people and they were specific. Prophet Mohammed pbuh told us he was sent to all mankind, ordered us to respect all the other books because they might still have some truth mixed with fabrications. the concept of prophethood in Islam is that God chose those people and protected them from major sins like (fornication and polytheism). This, for the Muslims is a big deal. we feel very Sad to see the sins that the prophets are supposedly done in their times and we believe that is wrongfully put in their books that they changed over time for a certain agendas. Please atleast look at the story of the prophets from Islam perspective. we really don't rely on the bible for that. when faced by the stories in the bible, we take as truth what is in the Quran and narrations of the prophets. if there's a big difference we avoid it completely. if the bible has a story that doesn't contradict the Quran we leave it as it is and we don't reject nor fully accept and that's the concept from our view. Please react or just watch in your free time to : kzbin.info/aero/PLPel02TzfONWA9zyHPBb7KJWBD2ArCOII
@yassirhakimi8569 Жыл бұрын
for clarification. There's a big difference in islam between major and minor sins. And the prophets may or may not have done minor sins but it's really a truth that they didn't come close major sins: Shirk: Associating partners with Allah or engaging in polytheism, which is the greatest sin in Islam. Murder: Unlawfully taking someone's life. Adultery or Fornication: Engaging in sexual relations outside the bounds of marriage. Theft: Taking someone else's property without their permission. False Testimony: Bearing false witness or lying under oath. Usury (Riba): Engaging in exploitative or excessive interest-based transactions. Consuming Intoxicants: Drinking alcohol or taking drugs that impair judgment. Slander or Backbiting: Spreading false information or speaking ill of others behind their back. Oppression: Treating others unjustly or exploiting their rights. Disobedience to Parents: Showing disrespect or disobedience towards one's parents. and if any prophet would just do minor sin like deciding in a matter before God revelation or frowning in the face of someone, God blamed them for it, and they repent right away. and all prophets that are mentioned in Quran will go to heaven. inchaallah (God willing). and in the end I might stutter, get things wrong or right, so finally a muslim says" God knows best" الله اعلم

If there is a belief that God has many children, some may argue that it contradicts the concept of the Trinity. It is important to note that when referring to "children of God" or "sons of God," the terms are often used symbolically or metaphorically, particularly in the context of prophets and their communities. It is a way of addressing and emphasizing the relationship between God and His people. It is unlikely that these terms were understood in a literal sense by the prophets or the Jewish people, both historically and in contemporary times. Here just for the sake of argument, why didn't women be addressed as daughters of god, the reason is that son of god or daughters of god does not have a literal meaning. Symbolically speaking, the notion of God having sons is not inherently flawed from a logical standpoint. However, if the understanding is that these sons possess equal power to God, it can present a logical challenge. Logically, if there were multiple sons with equal power, it would not be limited to just two or three but could potentially continue indefinitely. this is just my opinion.

Hi Dax, When it comes to the day of judgment, it is described in vivid details in the Islamic narrative. It's a vast subject as usual. But here is a small summary. At the end of time everything will perish. Only Allah will remain. Then Allah will resurrect every single living being from the animals, humans, jins, angels etc. They will all be gathered to face the final judgment. Every being who has free will will have to face judgment, nothing will be overlooked on that day. This will be the day ultimate justice will prevail, and Allah is the most just. People who have passed the test will be entered into paradise, and the people who have failed will be entered in hell fire. There will be some who will be entered into the fire to pay for their sins for an appointed sentence (people who where strict monotheists in the Islamic sense) but they committed sins in excess and didn’t repent. While others who did not worship Allah alone will have no respite from the fire. That will be there final destination for eternity. As for the people who entered into paradise will also live there for eternity, they will be given eternal peace and happiness. The earth will also be resurrected for the final judgment, judgment day will take place on the resurrected earth. However paradise and hell are a different creation. As i said this is a vast subject, when you get a chance look into it further.

This messenger did this, and that messenger said that. The beauty of Islam is that it is all about "the message", and the source of that message, God. It is all about God. The First (Al-Awwal) and The Last (Al-Akhir). The Alpha and The Omega.

Hello Dax, I hope you’re doing well. I might have been a bit aggressive in my last comment from episode 10’s video, and you don’t deserve that, you’ve been nothing but respectful, so I apologize if I offended you in any way. Concerning Allah being the Originator, I’ve used the following analogy to highlight this reality. The Maker of a computer doesn’t become the computer, nor is the Maker subjected to the laws/rules that the computer runs by, nor is the Maker made of the same material as the computer. In the above analogy, the Maker is Allah, while the computer is all of existence including everything we know and everything we don’t know. For example, the laws are their own computer, humans too, tangible objects, death, emotions, animals, and so forth. Concerning your question about resurrection in the Islamic paradigm, it’s important to understand the purpose of life first. Life is a test and since the human being is on top of the food chain so to speak, they are responsible for the preservation of life, while striving to be the best representatives of God. God entrusted us with this representation and gave us the intellect through it, and through that, we can have a bigger impact on the Earth compared to other forms of life. For example, one human can kill millions, burn forests, and so forth, but they can also save millions, and plant trees, etc. A whale, a dog, an ant, etc, can’t do such things with such a drastic impact on life. So on the Day of Resurrection, it will be a Day when all living beings will be resurrected so that we can be judged. From Adam all the way to the last human. Since this is going to be a trial, animals, and plants will be resurrected to testify for or against a person’s particular case. For example, if a person tortured an animal, that animal will be brought as a witness to the individual’s cruel actions. So even parts of the Earth can be resurrected in order to testify against a person that litters for example. The same could be said about the bodies of water we have on Earth. So one could say all material can be resurrected too. Concerning the Day itself, in the Islamic paradigm, everything will get destroyed and every living being will die including angels and nothing will remain except Allah the Tremendous and Most High. Scientifically, some talk about a big crunch theory where everything goes back to a singularity, so there’s a possibility this is somewhat accurate. So once everything is gone, Allah will bring it all back to existence but with different laws of the universe and nature, different earth, and even different human beings. Humans will be resurrected and will remain at a certain age, but we will have the same genetic coding and even the same fingerprints as He tells us in another Surah. Some will also be resurrected blind, due to them rejecting God’s signs while they were alive. Moreover, once everyone is resurrected, people will go to what they recognize as their leader and will seek them out for protection. And everyone will be in these types of groups. When the judgment is about to start, people will be standing in rows and no one will be able to speak unless given permission. Everyone will just stand there and wait for their turn, and once it comes up, they will be given their book with either their left hand or right. This will be the moment where the person knows if they were among those that are forgiven or condemned. If the person honored what Allah entrusted us with, they’ll have a happy abode close to the Divine, while those that took advantage of it and others, will be alienated from the Divine which will result in misery. It is important to add that we will all fall short on that Day because Allah gave us a lot more than what we can ever give back. So people that go into paradise do it through His Grace and Mercy. A lot more can be said about this Day. But I’ll end this topic with this. We have a lot of names for it in the Quran. Day of Judgment, Day of Truth, the Hour, Day the debts fall due, Day of Separation, and so forth. Concerning Surah 37. This is particularly talking about the polytheists in Mecca because they believed that some of the idols were the daughters of God. So the ayah is specifically talking about them, but it can also be about other groups of humans that believe God has progeny. When we look at the Old Testament and rabbinic traditions and commentaries, we can see that these references are in a metaphorical sense and not literal. When we say Elohim as well, that is more like God's council, to show who is with God and close to God. Just like Moses was called Elohim in Exodus 7. So in reality anyone that walks in the path of God is considered the metaphorical child of God which is also what we find in the New Testament for example Acts 17:29. Since the Quran came to clarify a lot of misconceptions within history, the literal form is one of them but the Quran also makes it clear that the metaphorical sense is abrogated by servants for those that are walking on God’s path. When we think about these two terms we can see that children of god can cause a group/ethnicity to claim superiority over others, while a servant can come from anywhere. Taking the approach that everyone can be a servant, removes the ethnocentric fallacy. I look forward to your final CRQ episode. It certainly was a pleasure watching these videos and giving us the opportunity to engage with you. Thanks

This is by far the best video you’ve made in this series. To answer the questions you made: - We believe everything will be resurrected including animals as in At-Takwir verse 5. Anything that was done injustice against another creature will be punished to it’s equivalence. A hornless sheep that was head-butted by horned goat will be given horns to take vengeance and once everything has taken their justice they will return to dust. - We believe resurrection happens on this earth and after that everything will take place somewhere that’s neither heaven or hell. There is no description of this place but some scholars say it is Al-A’raf which is something similar to purgatory in a sense. - Yes we believe the earth eventually will disappear. God says in Surah Ibrahim verse 48 that on that day the earth will be replaced by a different earth and sky by a different sky. This doesn’t mean there will be a new earth creation rather it describes the abode of the believers. - When God says that it is blasphemy to attribute sons and daughters to Him it’s a linguistic change that was once permissible but no longer allowed as it would appear maybe because a clear confusion in what happened later. For the same linguistic reason where it was acceptable to call Moses a god in Hebrew, that type of language is not available in Arabic.

What are the earlier manuscripts of New testament? What is the deal with Council Of nicaea?

For the question of resurrection these verses talk about the judgement day, where the earth will be changed to another earth and every single soul will be revived to be judged by Allah, this versus explain it in details: (18:47-49) And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind. (47) And they were presented, lining up before yourLord. “Very truly, youhave come to Us as We created you the first time. No indeed, you claimed We would never set an appointment for you.” (48) And the Book (one's Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allah, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah), and you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: "Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!" And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice. (49)

Hi, first time viewer here. I was wondering why aren't you playing/listening to the verses in arabic as you read the translation. I think without listening to the verse in it's original language, you are missing out on a lot of the beauty of Quran. There are many persons in the old and new testament there are sons of God, even David is called the begotten son of God, we would say from a theological aspect that God does not need to have a son because having a son or a child is a weakness and God is all powerful, there are reasons for having a son for example,,, you want to pass your genetics/ you want your child to do what you couldn't do/ you want him to help you when you grow older/ etc... And all of these reasons are weaknesses, but God doesn't have any weaknesses. You seem really sincere brother, may Allah guide us to the straight path.

Hi Dax, the word "Children/Son of God" in the Bible is just metaphor word, it means that God's creation is loved by God like a father to his child, not really that God has children like humans & animals. Because God is not like his creation, God does not need a husband or wife. And in the Quran, God calls people he loves with "Servants of God".

Like many others have commented, prophets were always understood as metaphorical "sons of God" in the Jewish tradition. It was never taken literally until Christianity came along and elevated Prophet Jesus (who had a similar miraculous birth to Prophet Adam) to a literal Son of God. Jesus (peace be upon him) was ethnically and culturally Jewish so even if he described himself as a Son of God, he meant it in a figurative sense just like his ancestors before him. Anyways, I would highly recommend you to have a discussion with the Muslim Lantern and with Dr. Ali Ataie! They are both great resources on Qu'ranic understanding and very knowledgeable about the Bible as well.

The son of god thing is just confusion over the meaning. The trinity and Arab pagans said literal children, whereas Jewish exegetes had a more metaphorical interpretation of the phrase. Otherwise, even if the entire Bible were accepted as an epistemological source, it would still be taken as subordinate to the Quran for us.

On your question: What will be resurrected at the end of time? Islamic eschatology states that when the trumpet is blown by the angel Israfeel (A.S), all life will be put to death (all other angels and even the angel of death, jinns, mankind, animals and the entire world) Then Allah will take the life of the angel Israfeel aswell. And in some interpretation He will wipe out all existence until only He remains. But it's mostly interpreted that only the living will be given death and the rest of creation stays. And in the end Allah will proclaim His Majesty and Glory. Then after the time of the grave has been completed, all beings will be resurrected again. The angels first and then jinn and men. After that all men will wait on a day of extreme heat and wait for judgement to begin. And here Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad will intercede infront of Allah for the people to begin judgement. And then after an extremely long period (or short depending on the type of person you were in life), the people are gradually sent to either heaven or thrown into the fire. Heaven is a place generally believed to be in the 6th or 7th heaven with levels designated depending on the level of good deeds. Hell is below the earth. With differing interpretations as to what that means. And hell itself will have levels with the lowest level (the worst) being designated for the hypocrites and Iblees (Satan) And Allah knows best.

In the Quran, the words children, son or daughter refer to biological offspring literally. That's why in the Quran Allah didn't use the word Abb, meaning father but Rabb , Lord. The way Abb was used before was completely misunderstood in the previous scriptures. While you claim to be sons of God, we claim to be His servants or creations instead. Finally, you're getting to the point (the controversies from Christian missionaries perspective). I think this is good. Every challenge should make us seek the Truth and be closer to God. 🤲

Son of God doesn't mean biological son. It has meaning in metaphorical sense. Like we all are sons of God.

Hey Dax! It’s not that the Torah or Gospels were corrupted, it’s that the idea was corrupted. Even if the prophets did say they were sons of God, it was never meant literally, it was meant as a title of spirituality and closeness to God. The reason why Islam forbids using son or children even metaphorically or symbolically is because of how Christians misinterpreted these terms and made them sinful by taking Jesus as the literal son of God, which is incorrect, illogical, and most of all immoral. As I explained, the title son or children of God has been used in the past for spiritual people, yes. Me too…

Hi Dax, I would like to comment on two points: 1- We both agree that there must be one God who originated the heavens and Earth. However, when it comes to details, we will find out in Christianity that God the Father is the one who did originate the universe. Neither the Son nor the HG did it. In fact, you literally believe that the Father begot the son, which technically means that God the Father originated the Son. No matter how you look at it. This hits the whole concept of trinity and that they are co-equals. 2- There are two concepts of "children of God" in Christianity which are both rejected in the Quran. A. The literal sonship, like Jesus where Nicean Christians say "God out of God". Most of the Quran rejects this concept like Surat As-Saffat. B. The spiritual sonship, where this refers to believers or people, etc. This concept is rejected as stated in Sura 5: V18. Praise to Allah who neither begot nor is he begotten.

✋️My question to you is: Why do you insist that the word “son” means “sons of God biologically” and push the trinity through this word, while it is more easier, logical, and consistent with Bible that the messengers are children of God in terms of language or how the father take care of the son, and that they are His servants, and He is the One and only True God, with whom no one shares any of His attributes?! Then we will understand that religion has always been one religion since Adam to Muhammad, which is true monotheism (Islam)! Isn't that the most logical and realistic thing you've ever heard in your life? Me, it definitely is❤

Or are you chousing to take the meaning in one aucasion figuratively and in another literally, and asking us what we think about both?

But the prophets did not say that they are sons of God And as you know for every prophet there is a law, for example, in Joseph's law, it is permissible for humans to worship men out of appreciation. But this was later prohibited. The problem may be that the title of "Son of God" was a metaphorical title, such as when an old person comes and calls you "My son." But in the end, the Bible and the Torah were translated from ancient languages, where some words contain more than one meaning. And that leaves the possibility that the translation could be wrong. These words are just to help you, but we Muslims believe that the Bible and the Torah are explicitly distorted in the text of the Qur'an

To answer your question about why we don’t believe god has children: We hold the Quran as the truth and the word of god. The gospel and Torah you have today is not the same that was revealed to Jesus and Moses. So yes we believe there were scriptures that were revealed but the ones we have now are not it. So when we want to know what is true within the Bible being held today we compare it to what the Quran says. So if the Bible says someone is the son of god but the Quran says god has no sons then we know that claim is false within the Bible. Hope that helps.

I would love to know your point in these bible verses and why you think that they don't denied crucifixion of Jesus “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “’He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Again, it is written, "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test." (Matthew 4:6-7), In this passage, the devil tempts Jesus by challenging him to throw himself down from a pinnacle of the temple, suggesting that if Jesus is the Son of God, angels will come and rescue him. The devil even quotes from Psalm 91:10-12 to support his argument. he is like saying the biblical prophecy foretold that angles will protect you so prove it right. "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. " Psalms (91:10-12) “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name ( Psalm 91:1) to support his argument. he is like saying the biblical prophecy foretold that angles will protect you so prove it right. Looks like they match !!! And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have *KILLED THE MESSIAH* , Jesus the son of Mary. Rather, Allah *RAISED HIM UP* to Himself. (Quran 4:157. 158) ______ VS ______ *NO HARM WILL OVERTAKE YOU* . or he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will *LIFT YOU UP* Psalms (91:10. 12)

When you say "son of god" what do you mean? If you mean figurative "son of god" then all prophets and Jesus included because Jesus is also called a prophet in the new testament are all men and not gods. If you mean "son of god" as divine beings then all the prophets are all divine or literal gods themselves. You cannot pick and choose and say this son of god is divine while others are not. If you ask any Jew or christians whether these sons of god are the literal sons of god their answer would be no same as the Quran. However christians are not consistent when it comes to Jesus peace be upon him. This question is not only directed at the christians but to pagan Arabs as well who say Allah has daughters.

In Islam we believe that we all will be resurrected in the judgement day, all of us either a believer or a non believer, even animals will be resurrected and all of us will be accounted on every second in our lives and every group of people will be separated than the other; like for an example Jews will be separated from Christians and Christians will be separated from Muslims, and the same thing will happen with atheists and so on, even animals and everything that has a soul will be there, everyone will take his right from the person who oppressed them, even disbelievers ill do that even the animals will do that, and then animals will turn into dust and the disbeliever will say I wish I was dust, this is all is mentioned in Quran, but its hard for me tbh to say each surah talking about that cause this story is written separately in different surahs, so after the animals turns to dust we will be accounted we and the jins and then we will path on a straight bridge that is thinner than than the hair and sharpen than the sword and what will make us balance on that bridge is our good deeds, so there will be who will pass that bridge running and there will be who will pass it crawling and so on, and those who will not pass that bridge are the disbelievers who will fall from that bridge and go to hell fire + there will be people who will go to the hell fire without even passing the bridge, and we believe that paradise is out of this universe and it will have what we have never seen and what we have never smell and what we have never hear, there will be things we have never seen, we will also have supernatural power, anything we ask God about will come before we even blink with our eyes, we will met the prophets and messangers we will see Allah SWT (and that will be our best part in paradise), we will have palaces, gardens and each one of us will have a river of water(has better taste than the normal water), a river of milk and a river of honey, and a lot and a lot of beautiful things, and we will never hear evil inside it

On the Day of Judgment, it will be a very long day with many events taking place both on a collective and individual level, as well as within smaller groups. However, to summarize briefly, there will be the blowing of the trumpet and the second coming, and all believers and non-believers, humans, jinn, and animals, will be resurrected and brought forth for judgement. Only a few individuals will be granted swift passage into Paradise. Verse 152 of Surah As-Saaffat speaks directly to the disbelievers of the Quraysh tribe, who accused Allah of having offspring and claimed that the angels were His daughters, allegedly born to Him from jinn. This will be mentioned in the following verses, 153 and 158. As for the topic of "sons of God" in the Torah that you mentioned, it may be a linguistic expression in general. The Quran responds to Jews and Christians by saying that if they were truly sons of God, then why would He punish them for their sins? They are only human beings like everyone else, and forgiveness is granted to whomever Allah wills, while punishment is given to whomever He wills. See Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 18. The book mentioned at the end of your video, please note that it is not a religious book like Sahih Al-Bukhari or Sahih Muslim.

Its not contridict what came before, it corrects the changes. Think about this is if a drunk, a liar, magician or someone who committes incest came to you and said believe me I am a prophet of God, would you believe him? The Quran says all prophet are the best examples and there people new them as such so if they deny the message the punishment is justified. So the quran says when the say there's thinks about the Prophets it's liars.

@10:14 Brother, what you appear to be incredulous about is the fact that, yes the Quran agrees with Torah, Zabur, and Gospel about the prophets and their revelations having taken place, but tells you to take what they say from the previous revelation with a grain of salt, Quran speak of content and corruption, not the occurrence of revelations. Make a distinction. I mean this is obvious. Quran says, the previous revelations did happen, and they carried one message, and it says, here it is again but one last time. Pretty straight forward to understand. There is one God. In the ancient Semitic texts, humans were used to be called children of God. It's not literal.

Here is something fascinating for non-Muslims! A verifiable fact you can check for yourselves with a spreadsheet! In the Qur'an 89:3, God (Allah) swears by the even and odd. 1. By the daybreak. 2. And ten nights. 3. And the even and the odd. What could be so special about even and odd? “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; And We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).” (15:9) We all know that in modern communications, we make use of a checksum at the end of the message to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of the contents and if the checksum doesn't compute, it means part of the message has been compromised. There are 114 chapters of the Qur'an in total and 6236 verses. If you add the chapter number with the number of verses in that chapter you'll get a list of 114 numbers starting with 1+7=8, 2+286=288, 3+200=203 etc Amazingly, 57 of these totals are even and 57 are odd. Then if you sum all the even totals, the sum is 6236 (the total number of verses) and if you sum the odd totals, the sum is 6555 (the sum of the surah numbers, like 1+2+3 all the way to 114). You can prove this to yourself with a spreadsheet. But this is the point! The moment you change the number of verses in a chapter or decide to add a chapter, the totals get messed up. How do you account for that? Now say "La ilaha ill Allah wa Muhammad rasool Allah!"

Just for clarification, heaven is different from paradise. Paradise refers to the eternal dwelling place for those who triumphed on the test of life. Heavens is a general broad term referring to the universe and everything within it. All the stars, including our own sun and also the earth, is within the first heaven, or sky. I believe the term in the bible used is firmament? There are countless levels of paradise and each individual will be placed therein according to the rank and good deeds they accumulated on earth. Heaven however only has 7 levels or dimensions. Each one is incomprehensibly larger than the last. During the day of resurrection, everything will be resurrected. Including animals. Even the earth, inanimate objects, angels, will be present to testify for or against the humans for what they used to do. So everything that exists has some sort of consciousness, i.e animism.
